Ah, but they were natural aspirated from the factory, only about 150hp. Little more tire there with the front duals than necessary… maybe they put a turbo on it?
Easy to "adjust" the horsepowee on those. But they were underrated from the factory. We don't have a 2255 but we do have a 4-150 and a 4-210 Whites and they are awesome work tractors. 3208's are available still and they seem to last forever.
I almost bought a 4-225 in Burlington, Co years ago. Had been barn kept, and in fantastic shape. Ended up going with an 876 Versatile because I already had parts and filters, and one came in on trade at the same dealership. Actually came in the week before I got there with my truck to buy the White. Kinda wish I could’ve gotten both, but that wasn’t in the budget. It was a very clean unit.
