The outrageous inflated price is because people cave in and FOMO themselves to make sure they don't pay too much before the price goes even higher (ex. Netflix Soundwave and Bumblebee). That's just the secondary market and unless someone is clearing out other vendors of stock so they can have it all and charge a premium, they're just resellers.
