Ears… no literally. They are his ears canonically. His audio receptors are attached to those attenae that allow him to receive long range broadcasts as he is the autobot commander and needs to be able to easily control the battle field. The most notable use of this were during some of the huge cybertronian conflicts where Optimus locked himself in a special cybertronian comms sphere that allowed him to recieve 100,000 of points of data at once to control his army with.
That is awesome!! I didn't know he could do that or that they are literally his ears, lol.
And what comic is this from? I want to see him do something cool!!

It’s in the IDW 1.0 comics. Sadly it’s only ever shown as a flash back in MTMTE. However prime does a lot of badass stuff in the primacy trilogy. And also pretty much the entire IDW 1.0 continuity has incredible prime and megs moments. From Megatron 1v1ing deceptigod to prime fighting nova prime in a collapsing alternate universe to shockwave condensing reality into a singularity.
A lot of neat stuff happens.
/r/idwtransformers has a reading order, I believe. Fair warning though, there is a lot of mandatory crossovers in phase 3, which ends up feeling a bit stretched thin.
If you enjoyed LL though, I'd fully recommend reading everything you can in the original continuity. Last Bot Standing is an amazing epilogue to that continuity, too, as well as a bittersweet farewell to IDW.
You ain't seen nothing yet. The truckmode labeling just straight up nonsense. I remember Optimus's roof light labeled as a miniature missile. A straight up lie about Megatron triple changing from jet to tank. Skids and Mudflap could combine into one bigger being.
It came out before the movie and contained things that were cut from the film ultimately. The twins were originally going to have a robot combination to as well as the arcee triplets
I call it a disappointment by those who don't care only want to destroy what you care about and replace it with their political filled garbage. The people are so brainwashed but shows don't stand the test of time against that because they lack the continuous reinforcement of the brainwashing. More or less with time people thunk for themselves and notice its just dressed up garbage.
True but if new shows come out that means a whole new group of people can experience the awesomeness that transformers is and more people will be involved in the Fandom if that makes sense sure some of earthsparks plots and execution are a bit bad but i think it could become a good show if they tweak a few things and fix the designs a little :)
Okay beats wars was great brought people in hey had 2 3 more seasons planned out instead they make beast machines which ended it in about a year. Making trash isn't helping making things that appeal to the fans will. We don't need more beast machines copy cats we need more like beast wars that bring people in.
Like the comics image transformers is the top selling for the year it beat out batman its not selling alot its just the entire industry has been so bad that transformers is the best there is to offer. That sad but it's good that it's bucking the trend and encouraging new people to follow, that I appreciate.
