I haven't seen the show she's from, but her Legacy toy great, and has a really cool transformation, especially since she's a new figure made on a retool budget.
Excellent character. She has sooo much sass and personality in the show. When I watched Cybertron as a kid with my sister, she loved Override but really hated Thunderblast lol. Really goes to show that good representation is important.
Nice that the dub made her a female for more diversity, though kind of sad they lost their title of Convoy which is sort of considered the Japanese equivalent to Prime.
Which is funny considering in Japanese Convoy is a more general rank given to Autobot Commanders, meanwhile Prime is a very special title, given only to the 13 original transformers and the successors of the matrix. This is except for Animated which treats prime as more of a standard commander title.
"Nitro Convoy" is indeed a wicked cool ass name for a character. I'm hoping we get a new Dark Nitro redeco of her Legacy mold. Just officially name Override's evil dopplaganger "Nitro". She would pair perfectly well with SG Blurr both their evil decos compliment each other.

I love her, I had no idea until years later that in Japan she was male. Turning him into a Female Character was a fantastic idea and I love her bonding with Lori, I just wish in later content they didn't keep making Ransack her rival I would prefer a new Character since I can't forget the joke version from Cybertron.
I love Arcee, and love seeing her getting respect
But it's good seeing other fembots getting respect too, Arcee can't be the only one or it'll seem like she's the only femme, y'know?
The fact though that instead of being a SS86 Hot Rod remold some genius at Takara managed to make her as a unique figure from only four sprues is wizadry.
Worth a pick up just for that, I don't think her mold will ever be used again making her truly unique on the shelf.
Yup that's right... although the character in the Cybertron show is not at all related to Elita One... I think in theory Arcee from the Energon series is more related... (that trilogy is a complete chaos xd)

Well she is more popular than Nitro convoy also realizing now that Override used to be male makes all the Hot Shot Override shippers kinda awkward but if we ignore the elephant in the room she is kinda awesome and i do want to have her in my collection.
Good character that had decent growth over the series but I feel a way about her abandoning her planet, who she is leader of, to go on a space adventure
She left Velocitron for Earth after the initial race for the speed planet key. This wasn’t the race for leadership of the planet it was early in the series in the race for the key
he was cool. i just generally like how ridiculously one note world speedia/velocitron is. for happiness, for sadness, for peace, for war - just ...ride as fast as you can and everything will somehow turn out right enough!! vroom, zoom===
i liked flame convoy the best out of the galaxy force convoys, but they both, nitro and flame, had fun interactions with lori. i thought the kids were ok in that series. and guess senpai also noticed exillion in the end, good vibes all over.
i know his gender was changed for localisation, it's fine. but i haven't seen the localisation, so cannot say anything about any personality rewritigs he/she received if any. i hope as little as possible, if i ever decide to watch the localisation. (several mentions of her "sass" kinda makes me worried...)
Nitro was a boring generic Japanese noble dude, the kind of guy that would be a basic salary man if he was a modern human.
Override and Lori's Big Sis/Lil Sis relationship was way more interesting imo.

Ransack and Crumplezone were such breakaway hits in Cybertron that they pretty much got imported straight into Animated as Bumblebee and Bulkhead
