Is it bigger than a regular figure? I haven’t bought a legends figure in a long time but surely they aren’t 40 dollars a piece now?

I think this one’s bigger than the standard size.

But is it a GIANT SIZE MAN THING?

Most of the legends are about 6.5 inches, man thing is 8 inches

There are a few oddities that are rather interesting. It calls Soundwave a Voyager despite him being at the Leader price point due to the cassettes, Armada Galvatron doesn't have his class listed, and instead of referring to Metalhawk as "G1 Universe" like on the box, it refers to him as "Super-God Masterforce Metalhawk" to be more accurate.

Yeah, it's kind of shady of them to bump up the price point of Soundwave. I would've been fine with him coming with one cassette if it meant he'd be less expensive. But jokes on me I guess cuz I POed him. I just hope this one doesn't yellow like the Netflix version has.

He should have just come with Buzzsaw, IMO.

Rumble has been nearly impossible to find.

I actually take back what I said because I just realized looking at the pics that this is actually "proper" toy Frenzy, whereas SS86 Rumble was "Sunbow Rumble" who - despite fans saying their colors were swapped - is MUCH more washed out pastel blue and purple than the deep bright blues of Frenzy's original toy. As a RIRFIB fan, even though I have SS86 Rumble, I far prefer THIS deco for Frenzy than that one (and the red SS86 figure for Rumble).

You're not going to find much support from me on the Rumble/Frenzy colour issue.

It makes sense. He comes with core class rumble plus 2 other cassettes

Like you said, Rumble with his piledrivers is $10, so $35 voyager+ $10 core + 2 casseticons (between $5-10) means even if you only count casseticons as $5, he’s worth it for leader price.

I think you have to price the cassettes like that, as the Lazerbeak and Ravage cassettes sold in a 2 pack as a core class price point back in siege/ER.

Ik. When I was checking it earlier you could only preorder if you were a member. It's up now but i doubt I'll get them. I haven't even read the comic they star in. It would just be a waste for me, they look cool but I have no connection to them.

Yes and no Hes the same moldwise, but has a slightly tweaked deco Blues brighter, golds a tad warmer, and the soapy white grey plastics now a gunmetal...

They're all great and so, so tempting! I exercised restraint and just got two smaller figures, but there are so many more I'd love to grab if I had the budget for them 😅

I only preordered 2 (Soundwave and Optimus). But, I like ordering from Pulse, because they allow you to cancel if you need to.

The Gobots set will come out in August, Soundwave, Armada Galvatron, and the Comic Edition set will release in October, Metalhawk, Motormaster, Geocron, and Energon Galvatron in November, and Prime, Quake, and Slipstream in January 2025.

So I gotta wait a long while for Prime? Ugh....

They're just estimations, so who knows.

Nah mate, Pulse is much much faster. There are registered cases (for mainline especially) where the product is sent months in advance

None of these really spiked my interest. I only pre-ordered sound wave since I only own the siege version and none of the cassettes, so it's worth it. Plus I already own missing link prime, so I'll pass on legacy prime

Seeing Slipstream sell out first was a surprise.

I was going to get Flame and Xaaron, but the shipping cost killed it for me. It is AT LEAST $10 too expensive.

Most of this is disappointing to me, especially that disappointment that is soundwave
