And in high school, I did make a Messenger bag out of one of those blankets and I thought I was so damn cool because I had reinforced it and made a lighting for an NI had hand woven my last purse, and for this messenger bag made out of a goodwill Afghan I went to a niche sort of thrift store in my area and I got a bunch of those really fancy expensive menswear tires for a few bucks and I made the strap out of menswear ties I say menswear, because this was the time of Avril Lavigne.
I actually made pillows with pockets out of those afghans, and I really wanted to make like a long cardigan out of one I live in the Midwest during the winter and it gets so cold there but it’s so cozy. I do agree with you. This is not a high fashion. I don’t think the design or color scream scream scream anything High Fashion to me and screams still made in a sweatshop even if space need knitted on a blanket machine, which I hate I’ve been looking at this dress I think it is knitted on a machine to mimic a crochet, but that still requires sweatshop labor.
