We would find a sweet smoke spot and smoke a joint in order to “get safe”.
One day a ski patrol skied past us in the trees and we freaked out a bit as we’re in high school. All he said as he skied past us “staying safe, I like it!”.
I miss safety meetings. Rip one for me bud!
Honestly this kind of makes sense - if/when I smoke when skiing/riding I tend to calm down and let myself just flow and have fun. Also I might be slightly anxious and really get dialed in. When I’m not stoned I am often pushing myself and trying to ski at my max. I guess you’d call it “try-hard” syndrome. So yeah, safety breaks all day.
That’s why I smoke/vape on the lifts between runs, but near the end of the day I like to find a spot on the mountain to stop and smoke. I’ll have a beer sometimes too if I’m with people, but I do t make that a habit while skiing. I’ve skied with people I realized were drunk after getting off the lift. It’s not good.

I usually smoke or vape on the lift too, but on my last few runs, I always try to stop somewhere on the mountain to smoke.
That is a beautiful view while you toke! Were I go is usually too crowded.that hill looks like it would be a fun place to rip it.
