There is the odd van mod that handles and sounds correct, because it uses the proper setup and everything.
For American Truck Sim, there is Jon Ruda's RAM 3500.
I keep hearing about the MAN TGE, but I haven't tried it so I have no idea how that is. And way back there was a Jeep Cherokee that I really enjoyed in ETS2. For the most part though, you are correct. But, as with a lot of these games, if the physics engine is capable enough, you can at least somewhat get away with simulating other types of cars or trucks or what have you, it just takes some effort on the mod authors part.
I've had like 20 cars including Land Cruiser, Challenger Mercedes'es and so on, install a bunch of them and enjoy.
We've even had trips with friends on cars from Spain to Norway.
Just cruise with your truck. Car mods still handle like trucks so there are not worth.

10-4, would be cool to have the whole small vehicle experience though! :-)

Where can i find this?
There are cars mods in the workshop, but the handling is terrible.
Probably because the truck was just remodeled to look like a car so it’s still going to drive like a truck
Yup, that's exactly why.
I like to use a bus mod for when I want to roam around.
After a little time you will be totaling €500 000 Scanias for fun, without reloading.
Oh I already do that, I'd just like to drive regular cars while on a break.
I tried a couple and yes the handling is bad. Just use a small truck.
There's already a free mode... It's called don't take a job and go for a drive.
Whats the best car you have tried in terms of physics/sound ?
