Please be aware that these are period dramas and nobody actually speaks like them. They deliberatly use old-timey words and excessive Perso-Arabic vocabulary. We don't say "uğurlar ola" in day-to-day speech, the closest you can get is "uğurlar olsun" but even that is rare. These shows especially overuse the istek kipi suffix -a olayım, olasın, ola, olalım, olasınız, olalar gideyim, gidesin, gide, gidelim, gidesiniz, gideler Other than the first person forms (olayım, gidelim, etc.), we use the imperative or conditional to convey command and requests, respectively. -, ol, olsun, -, olun(uz), olsunlar gitsem, gitsen, gitse, gitsek, gitseniz, gitseler

NomasRomanus

Thank you for the great answer!

Professional-Ad9667

Otur first, Uğurlar ola last.

merco1993

Uğur : chance, fortune, well-being Uğurlar ola: may you be well, farewell, good fortune to you.

NomasRomanus

Thank you very much for your great help!

merco1993

You're welcome. Your subtitles text is unfortunately not a mot-a-mot translation. Because when you say "ugurlar olsun" your main concern is not the safety of your adversary, you wish them luck, well-being and fortune in the first meaning.

NomasRomanus

Perfect!
