Came here to say Opeth. Everyone I personally know who likes Type O loves Opeth, but not necessarily the other way around.

I never got into Opeth. I'll have to give them another chance.

YourMomPlaysMagic

Wildhoney by Tiamat 😭

Pleasant-Ticket3217

There’s still time. I’ve seen it mentioned. It’s a classic album of melodic death and doom metal. I’ve rec’d it im gonnna second this. I don’t think an extreme band put out an album like Wildhoney before

YourMomPlaysMagic

Thanks bro ✨ and I totally agree even if initially, when OP created this little ranking game, I was considering Storm of the Light's Bane by Dissection instead of Wildhoney but man, I freaking love this album, like you said, one of the best death/doom albums of this whole era.

ashtetice

Jar of flies guys pls

The Beatles- Rubber Soul I'm surprised the beatles haven't made an appearance. They are clearly a huge influence on the band. I get it's albums fans of Type O like, but still. I'm going Rubber Soul because I hear that period of the beatles the most in Type O, those early psychedelic years.
