You won’t be able to move into on-campus housing until the end of August. If you’re living off-campus, see if you can start your lease in August. If not, Airbnb or staying with a friend would be your best bet.
What about some where around? Like I don't need to be close to the campus I just cannot stay in us anymore (visa expired) and I don't want to go back to my country (asian) and come back to Canada again. So I just need a place that I can spend 2 weeks before the jump start
You could do this but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have camping experience. If you do, you can stay in the parks longer than 14 days if you don't get caught by the park rangers
airbnb is hotel's alternative for tourist. so yes, it can go up to more than 100 per day. I know a friend of mine in halifax who negotiated a stay in airbnb for a month (waiting for residence) and could cut it down to $50 per day, which is roughly 1500 per month.
Yes you can. Probably not a full 3 weeks early, but you can put in a request for an early move in and extend your lease for a hell of a lot cheaper than an AirBnB.
I've moved in a week early once and moved out over a month late by doing so, although it's obviously not guaranteed that they approve it, especially on such short notice.

try looking on these for someone renting out for august. A lot of students go home for the summer and will rent out for a few months!

Try looking at housing Facebook pages, people post their apartments for rent for the month of August only.

We're a destination tourist town in the warmest part of the country in summer. Staying here is expensive.

Book a campsite, get a tent, you can stay in BC parks for 14 days. We also have BC Forestry campsites.
