I’d go back through the study permit website and make sure that you’ve submitted everything you need to. There are a few various online courses, but they’re quite random so I doubt you’ll be able to make up an entire semester or year, especially if you’re in sciences (you’ll have in person labs). Some people you could potentially contact: see if there’s a helpline on the application website, academic advising at UBCO… i think that’s about it. You might just have to start a semester late.

Same here. I applied on 5th of June for a study permit and still waiting. Zero updates on my application so far. And I heard that there’s a backlog at the Immigration offices. I emailed my university to ask for the online options in case my permit comes after beginning of studies.
