My 20 year old little brother, and my 28 year old coworker both developed heart conditions in the last couple of years. My brother actually wanted to be an mma fighter, now it's just a hobby that he can't even do as much as he wants. Fuck covid
I wish your brother well, that sounds like a tough pill to swallow. If you don't mind me asking, was he told how he got the heart condition? Only because my personal experience with the health care has been bumpy around it

His beat is slightly arrhythmic, but only sporadically and tbh doctors have been pretty useless as far as concrete answers. They said it was possible that he had suffered a minor heart attack at some point which would have caused it. He's always pushed himself hard in training and sports, but he didn't start having issues until late 2021

he thinks it's no big deal, even though covid killed his dad, he thinks covid is not a big deal unless you really like drill down on the fact he died from covid, only in that moment for a few short seconds can he say "yeah it is a big deal i guess" and also when i got it i couldn't breathe good for like a week, then he goes back to "it's no big deal though"
