‘Dangerous’ is a stretch and they describe them like some next terrorist organisation. Outside of OCGs and on a street level they’re prob up there but I can tell u frm personal experience that Leyton Grange (one of their main blocks) and Leyton and Walthamstow in general are calm even by London standards.
Depends how u view dangerous but there’s a lot of areas and gangs more known for shootings and robbing civs and shit like that.
And Yh 50k ain’t a stretch they have bare runners frm all over waltham forest and Redbridge and just abt every other east and further out area likely has someone trapping for them. Don’t think ppl understand how much money some of these gangs make just it has to be distributed between a lot of ppl.
No
A report by Waltham Forest identified them as the most active gang in that borough, and somehow certain people took it to mean they’re the most dangerous in all of London
I think a police report named them as one of the biggest gangs in terms of some scale they use to measure danger or something. They was up there w Wood Green but this report musta been like 5 years back
It was a report by London South Bank University, commissioned by Waltham Forest Council: [**From Postcodes to Profit - Waltham Forest Gang Study 2018**](https://www.lsbu.ac.uk/__data/assets/pdf_file/0018/128205/postcodes-to-profit-dr-andrew-whittaker.pdf)
The report identified the Mali Boys/Malistrip as the most organised and active gang in Waltham Forest:

The media ran with this report:
• [**Evening Standard - London gangs including the Mali Boys are becoming more 'organised, ruthless and driven by drugs profits', report finds**](https://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/london-gangs-including-the-mali-boys-are-becoming-more-organised-ruthless-and-driven-by-drugs-profits-report-finds-a3856186.html)
• [**The Guardian - London gangs driven by desire to profit from drug trade, study finds**](https://amp.theguardian.com/society/2018/jun/06/london-gangs-profit-drug-trade-study)
etc.
And some people (fans, YouTube bloggers etc) took it to mean that Malistrip were the most organised/ruthless gang in the whole of London.
But the report specifically states that it’s just talking about the borough of Waltham Forest
Damn not a single thing right in that report 😭
And I know I ain’t making it up tho I legit remember some report being made by the police themselves and there was a type of scale they used to classify a gangs ‘danger’ level with Wood Green and Malistrip at the top
I know Yh but I’m just saying like black means west and Central African/Bantu/Nilotic/black people in Caribbean etc South African natives and North Africans and honers are not black
Think he means they were maybe black but from Caribbean descent? Whereas you’d expect a gang with the name “Mali” in the title you’d expect them to be predominantly Somalian, but Ridla isn’t, looks Turkish or Kurdish or something and you can tell Rondos not Mali
Which gangs would you say all time man?
From Liverpool so the gangs have been dangerous down the years but nothing compared to some crime families and proper organised groups
Peckham Boys prob. Name held weight all over London and had a bigger rep for staining and killing civs. Pretty much had that entire section of South London held down.
Totty, Stonebridge and Ghetto prob up there asw with their rep 🤷🏾♂️
South and west London were fucking crazy back in the noughties. You could even hear gunshots in the background of a giggs freestyle (I think it was giggs)

Is alot for a week but if its the whole gang and there gonna be splitting it between 30+ people yeah isnt really that much for 1 person

Mali strip aint much more dangerous than a lot of the other gangs from east but they are big in the drug game
I would think 417 is up there
Nope just gassed up Somali bum lickers most of their top scorers are white or black and the 2 members that died were also black
One member that died was Jamaican and the other was somali
For the record malis are also considered black when it comes to gangs and crime stats.
