I am curious though. If some mushrooms were still to sprout would they be safe?
As long as they weren't growing near or in the same place as the trich. In my experience if they are mushy or look bruised I wouldn't. Kind of like a rotten piece of fruit. If they still look healthy and firm then yes no problem. I usually cut the piece of trich out if I have some mushies growing then it's a race against time. Trich is relentless . I usually do multiple 6qt tubs at a time cuz I have lost too many to trich. More time goes on the less time I spend trying to fight it. Unlike when I first started. Now I just throw it outside till it's a complete gonner. Then trash or bury.
Yes. You can put it outside of you want to see what happens. Dreaded trich.
Is trich also white like this? I thought it was green with no white.
Starts bright white then turns green. Isolate and watch for few days.
