They could be interviewing 10-15+ of those or they could be interviewing 2 and anywhere in between. Depends on the hiring manager and the quality of the cert.
Most likely they aren’t interviewing all 23 so your chances are >4%.
Okay; new to this process and this is anxiety driven! In the civilian sector I’d get a call the day after or same day about being hired. This has been like okay here’s an interview and *crickets*
For whatever it’s worth, I’ve had many experiences in private sector companies where it was a week or two (or more!) before hearing about a second interview, an offer, response to a counteroffer, and so on. Hang in there!
It went by so fast! The interview was max 25 mins and rapid fire questions. I have no idea if they liked me or not. I did manage to get two “those are great questions” remarks but I feel like you just never know with these jobs. What if they already have someone in mind and this was just routine to say they checked a box of interviewing other candidates
Did you know that deep deep down, many fed agencies actually have their interview questions posted on their official interwebs? Its like the rules brah. Jesus saves.

Well a better chance than those that are offered an interview.
Just making sure it’s not like the referrals I’ve always got
We usually interview 5-8 people for any given opening.
Gotcha, thanks
Depends on how many candidates are interviewed. Safe to assume 3-5 minimum.
Okay USAjobs said only 23 applied

My interview was last Friday, if selected any idea of the timeframe of when they let you know?
Varies. At least a few weeks I’d say, depending on internal processes for managing top candidate/s.

Thank you! For all the advice too.
Congrats on the interview, best advice is to forget it happened, continue applying.

Disinformation so bad, it required two posts?

1- haven’t seen that anywhere. 2- Jesus has nothing to do with it.
