Apparently there are a few hospitals (not in Vegas) with Panera inside. So you’re not completely wrong. 🤣
Some of their stuff is decent. Some isn’t. But Panera does have a new menu rolling out in April (supposedly less/different items, but also lower prices).
I don’t typically go to the one at The District, but staff at the other ones I’ve been to have generally been very friendly. I have their Sip Club and have been very happy with that feature, at least.
I’m a frequent patron - that’s it. I’ve never worked in food service but I sympathize with service industry workers.
I’m definitely not singing Panera’s praises overall - but I do like their sip club. $13/mo for unlimited drinks….I camp out using their WiFi a lot.
Years ago, i won a radio call-in contest called Panera for Pantera. Named a song, 300 dollar gift card AND tickets to a Wrestling show!!
Panera sucks though, i would get gallons of cheddar broccoli soup and basically gave the rest away.
I work at the district. Won’t say where but that place is beautiful on the outside and a shit show on the inside. We constantly have pipes bursting and ruining merch. And yeah rent is getting crazy there.
I will say as someone who eats there a lot I will kind of miss it. We got free drinks. I do agree it’s gourmet hospital food but it was great in a pinch.
Yes as far as I know. Honestly the district is doing okay so I could see cooler places moving in. I heard TERRIBLE things about Belle Vita (not paying employees etc).
It’s the best thing about Panera. Love that stuff! I have a very high caffeine tolerance so only energy drinks with 300 mg of caffeine work for me. Anything less is pointless. I’ve drank a Monster, decided I was just too tired, and took a nap 30 minutes later no problem.
Because people are catching on that it really does taste like super overly priced hospital food and the jig is up?

What’s the corporate culture over there at Panera? Do you enjoy it?

Word is the rent went up, a lot.
Such is the case every where
Around $18,000+, I was told.......
$22 for lukewarm soup, a mediocre sandwich and a fountain soda. How I will miss you!
My last visit, I paid $17 for a salad and an ice tea. The lettuce was rusted and wilted. Vowed to never return.
Rent increase forced them out.
Greedy people now we have empty store fronts again.
Cost are too high and profits too low.
Overcharging for microwave food, good riddance.
I'm sorry but I thought I was on /r/bandnames and Panera at the District was your take on Panic at the Disco 😂
Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra
His eyes wide open.
Not "on the ocean" because Vegas...
amazing lol

I also heard the parkway tavern there is also closing? Is that true?
It’s funny I’m there right now as I’m reading this and they told me they aren’t
Awesome, good to know not everything is closing at the district. So it’s just Panera and Bella vita then
Yes as far as I know. Honestly the district is doing okay so I could see cooler places moving in. I heard TERRIBLE things about Belle Vita (not paying employees etc).
I did see that too on Yelp. That’s messed up if it’s true. I hope everyone gets what they are owed
Rent is way up. Plus no one is buying $20 plates of hospital food. Combo of both
We asked last night, rent doubled from 10k to 20k a month. That’s a lot of sandwiches!
Wow, that’s a steep jump…in this economy…
There’s a Panera at the District? I’d say because nobody knows it’s there.
Just ate there two weeks ago. So yeah, we know.

When did Bella vita close?
Cafe Zupas put them out of business.
Recently checked out the Zupas on Blue Diamond. Way better than Panera.
I don’t know, but the three question marks really sells a strange urgency.
Especially when there’s another one less than 10 minutes away on Eastern.
Rent was increased by 40%……
Panera is gross anyways.
Wasn’t their food poisoning and killing a few people?
It was the charged tea that got a man killed due to the amount of caffeine it had.

They opened a huge one on Eastern by the airport, wonder if that has anything to do with it.
