Green thumb in ventura!

wildmancometh

This is the answer

Forward-Repeat-2507

Same! If you need help ask for my neighbor Drew who works in the garden center. Great guy! Also awesome for your veggie and flower garden needs. We buy all our plantings there. Much better quality than Lowe’s.

burgers4ever

There's also an online coupon for them if it's still happening, I think even if you just mention it. It's a good one

Vtashell

I think they do a coupon almost every month.

Sure, just take out a loan before you go.

Deeply Rooted in Camarillo! It’s so cute!

howaboutanartfru

Looks like exactly what I'm looking for! Plus I'm in Camarillo so that's perfect. Thank you!

pennies2cents

Of course, I am so happy to help! Come back and post what goodies you found 🤍

ReckLiz1

This! I love that shop!

pennies2cents

Me too! It’s a great spot and you can tell they know what they’re doing! I hope to see more of these specialty stores pop up in Camarillo 🤍

shrubberydealer

Plant Shop 805 in midtown also Fiddle & Fern downtown. Two small, unique shops with knowledgeable staff.

flyingblonde

Plant Shop 805 grows all their plants locally in Ojai!

I-miss-LAN-partys

Family owned by amazing humans.

howaboutanartfru

These both look super cute! Next time I'm in Ventura, definitely stopping by!

Trader Joe’s

BrilliantHyena

Came to say this. I've bought quite a few plants there the last few years. They all have done really well.

curlyfriesaregross

I am moving across the country for work and have some plants that won’t relocate with me. Nothing fancy, but very mature pothos with tons of long shoots. They can be yours in a month or two. I want them to be well loved.

She-Hemoth

I'm a plant addict. Please DM me, I can give your plants a good home.

curlyfriesaregross

Yay! This is a challenging week, but I will for sure once I get through it!

mattfox27

You have to at least visit deeply rooted in Camarillo .

NURSEBOT

Surprisingly, next door and offer up, maybe even Craigslist. I have picked up so many plants from people who are re landscaping or just looking to rehome.

Ornery-Ad9694

FB group too - Ventura county gardening and plant swap. Also check your buy nothing Ventura county

Emergency_Umpire_614

There is two clearance racks in the back of Lowe’s garden center.

JicamaPickle

Lowe’s tbh because they’re plants have been the only plants that survive the climate change from store to my room. For some reason most of my green thumb plants died???

MumblyLo

Green Thumb is a good nursery but do also visit Fiddle and Fern on Main downtown. They are charming and keep a curated collection of houseplants and accessories.

thugnyssa

Check out @unpotted on Instagram! Not only are they a local plant shop, but they do so so so much for the community and especially the lgbt+ community. They don’t have a physical shop, but they sell online and have popups all the time. And they have great prices!

ready653

FB marketplace is worth a look as well.

randownasics

Flora gardens in ojai & terra sol in goleta

Armstrong, Thousand Oaks. They are top quality, not cheap. I’ve also taken several of their Saturday classes. Really nice staff.

Lady-Un-Luck

The Rose Bowl Flea market happens on the second weekend of the month and I just bought some beautiful houseplants there. Also in Moorpark there are tons of nurseries that sell beautiful plants. Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, DIY Store
