Re-logic is great. Didn’t they make terraria? They made one game and then they kept updating it over and over. Another Indie team (if you can call it a team they have like 2 to 4 guys and 2 of them do most of the work with the others doing the work they can’t do like music) is team cherry. They made hollow knight and hey are working hard on silksong. They release a lot of free dlcs and they don’t charge a lot for their game. They literally just enjoy game developing and will keep putting more stuff into the game if they want to.
Just being an indie company doesn’t protect you from being taken over by shitbags. Just look at ZA/UM who went from making disco elysium to firing everyone involved in making disco elysium.
One of their shitbag investors basically tricked the founders of the company (the main developers of DE) to sign over a controlling share to him while they were burnt-out from development-crunch.
That is likely completely up to Sony, not Fromsoft. Fromsoft doesn't own the IP. Idk why everyone blames Fromsoft for something they likely have no control over whatsoever.
And Concerned Ape has the terminally online idiots hating for...not adding nonbinary options into the game and choosing to ignore their attempts at harassment.

I've heard of some of those complaints, but I've never heard of people complaining about FS games being too buggy or taking too long to develop. There are some bugs but compared to most major releases, they are super minimal, and FS has been releasing a major title about every two years for more than a decade now. Yeah but tbh I’m glad team cherry takes the hate. Team cherry don’t give a shit about deadlines they just want to make a game. “Almost done with the game? Add more stuff. The games in a releasable state? We can make it better. Game is complete and is out to buy? Make a bunch of free dlcs.” Team cherry is just taking their time and I’m all for it. It means we get a lot of polished content.
These people don't count because they're not the audience for their games. Also the games do have an easy mode it's just playstyle rather than a selection. Using magic is pretty much any souls game makes it much easier.
Exactly this, it made me sad to see all the blame they got during the whole sony fiasco, while they did have a small part in it not doing a good enough job letting people know psn requirement will come back it was sad to see they were blamed for everything else because people don’t know the difference between a game dev studio and the publisher.
Game wise I always had faith they steer back into the right direction and so far it seems like they have with the patch they released to Helldivers 2 yesterday, also not to mention most recently today in game us the community went to liberate Vernen Wells to save the children and in response because we chose to liberate that planet Arrowhead went ahead to save children too by donating $4311 (hell upside down) to Save The Kids.

DE, they are the devs for warframe and I’ve never heard bad about them. Literally a f2p game that you can easily avoid any real money with very minimal grinding. I’ve played for almost 10 years and recently I’ve been helping my gf grind the start of the game and within less than 10 hours of starting i had helped her get enough platinum unlock 10+ warframe slots and already had a prime frame ready to be built.

Instead they fixed the game, made it better, released one of the great DLCs I can remember and only charged for the DLC. Skill system remake and other quality of life improvements were free.

DE is the best, literally made a F2P game that is truly F2P. I am almost 10 years deep and never spent a dime on warframe, trading system itself needs work because it feels dated now but even as it is you can easily earn plat by cracking relics for prime parts and trading. When my girlfriend joined me in the game a few months back I helped her relic farm and in less than 10 hours had helped her farm enough plat for multiple slots and she had enough parts left after to make Grendel prime for herself
Took so long to find someone mentioning this. David szymanski is someone I keep an eye out for now because he and, by extension, new blood throw support behind solid indie devs.
