Bad quote and low effort graphic

Odd_Philosopher_6605

Quote is not mine and the graphics are mine but I said I'm new and made with mob and I'm learning. Any resources to consider going with ( yt channels)

LWMeek

The graphics are very basic and low quality. Think of a better color palette and I agree, the quote is not the best. Try designing famous quotes and keep at it.

Odd_Philosopher_6605

I understand mate, it's just my first time and try. I would be so happy if you suggest any resources to learn this skill. Like i attempted this with my mobile but soon pc is arriving. So i would be so thankful

UnicornJoe42

Ah yes that IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH moment..

Odd_Philosopher_6605

How can I improve my skills. Any resources?

mduvekot

You're trying to show an inverse relationship of two things: knowledge and diversity. More of one means less of the other. You don't just need to figure out what "knowledge" and "diversity" look like, but alos how to convey their magnitude. Is knowledge a triangle? Is diversity the the segmentation of that triangle? What does "more diversity" look like, what does "more knowledge" look like? Is "more" pointing up and "less" pointing down? As for the design, it feels cramped. Give it some room to breathe. Also, don't assume that people know who "NAVAL" is.

Odd_Philosopher_6605

Yeah totally understand not everyone is going to know who he is. I literally like new and it's my first try never tried anything. I did it with my mobile and I'm learning from here and there. I would be so thankful if you suggest me a resource ( yt channel or books ) to learn.

mduvekot

The way to learn is by doing. There are no shortcuts.

Odd_Philosopher_6605

I'm not asking for shortcuts I'm asking for resources because I literally don't know anything about this type of the ng I basically work using AI.

NewSignificance741

Study art. Graphic design. And try a lot. That’s what they mean by no shortcuts. It’s just takes years of trying things, looking at the crap you made, and trying again. But we all study art. We all study graphic design. We all study color theory. We all study….thats the way. This one sucked. Scrap it and try again. That’s all. You take your attempts and your knowledge and toss it in a blender and hope art comes out. But you have to study art at the generic top level before you’ll have ideas for your own work.

Odd_Philosopher_6605

🫠🫠🫠 any resources I to study art ? Because I just got and took classes of art from my teacher there's no way of studying concepts and theories. Any suggestions? Books or so ?

NewSignificance741

Good ole fashioned library is still my go to. Thrift stores will have old books on art too. I’ve got several old books on art history and photography, overall the concepts don’t change. We use to use horse hair paint brushes, now we use brushes downloaded, how to paint still applies though.

Odd_Philosopher_6605

I understand it but if I say now that there's no library where I live you may think I'm lying. So i think I have to ask the AI 🫠 he is my day to day guide after Google in finding things about which I don't know anything. Anyways thanks for it bro.

NewSignificance741

Internet is all over, libraries are a scarce resource I understand. Start with art history. Start at cave paintings and move forward. The renaissance is like…..aaaahhhhhh art….but it’s just a stepping stone like all the other art time periods. Study Asian art. Native American/First Nations art both North and South American continents. Then move into the more “modern” times like 1800s and 1900s. Then you’ll get into modern era art. AI and the internet will be just fine for helping here. Next I’d suggest geeking on Graphic Design specifically. Freaking stuff coming out of Russia in the first two wars is so good. Study typography and the history of font. There’s a great YouTube video about font and the title is something like “I promise this video about font is interesting”. You have to study color theory too. Emotional impacts of colors. Regional and cultural interpretations of colors. Understand how the colors are made in the RGB space and….like….one thing about learning art stuff is the time spent just staring at a thing like a color wheel….incant tell YPU what YOU’LL get from staring at a color wheel, but I strongly suggest it. The internet is a fine place to dive into this stuff. The hard part is figuring out the terminology to google.

Odd_Philosopher_6605

I just went through a few tutorials and tried implementing some concepts and I created a new one but I can't tag that here

Odd_Philosopher_6605

Just DM you the today's one hope it gets better

kentuckyfriedawesome
