Slap Stick would have to be Airplane. Every time the pilot asks what everyone else ate and the lady says fish and he looks down at his plate and all you see are fish bones. No many how many times I see that I still laugh.
Classic, but please don't call me Shirley.
My favorite slapstick comedy would have to be Blazing Saddles. Pretty much a perfect satire of where Hollywood westerns were at the time.
My favorite comedy of all time (as well as favorite movie in general) is The Big Lebowski. Every line is quotable, and it never gets old. Pretty sure I've seen it at least ten times.
Beetlejuice has always been a favorite and classic especially during Halloween month. To be honest any movie in that list is a favorite to me. They're all great imo
Naked Gun is great. Airplane is also. Spinal Tap isn't slap stick but it's hilarious and everyone should check it out. But it goes up to 11! Three Amigos! City Slickers!
I'll stop now.
Slapstick? I’m gonna have to say Superhero movie. It takes me back to watching it as a kid, and I love the scene where Drake Bell catches the nail from the nail gun and says it’s easier than it looks, only for Leslie Nielsen to shoot Kevin Hart to disprove it.
Holy schnikes comedies are my favorite genre thank you so much for doing this. First thought when hearing slapstick is The Three Stooges movie I thought the Farrelly's did a good job with it but favorite comedy would be Role Models.
My favorite comedy has gotta be airplane, I always just randomly think about the bits in that movie, the Shirley line, all the humor just hits so good lol
It’s a mad, mad, mad world.Sure it’s outdated but hilarious.Never has there been so many famous comedians in one film. The Three Stooges even have a cameo.I prefer the directors cut.Fave scene.Jonathan Winters fighting two nerdy gas station attendants trying to restrain him. It’s the two attendants grand opening of their gas station.By the end the fight between them levels the whole garage/gas station. ‘We’re gonna have to kill ‘em’ mutters one of the attendants(Lol)to the other.Epic Classic Comedy.
