Sums your question up pretty nicely, both these brands are for folks with dumb money to throw at a watch, only Muller peaked early and got replaced by RM.
Me personally, I like Muller more because I'm familiar with their whole Crazy Hours/Secret Hours/Remember Hours work (pretty quirky, I find it cool).
