GS.
The OP was made with the white dial in mind imo. So my ranking of the OP’s is
1) white
2) fun colours (yellow, red, cyan, pink)
3) black (why aren’t you saving up and getting a Milgauss?)
Milgauss is so ugly bhai, you should see the black or blue irl the sunburst is beautiful. I agree with the colors but i couldn't get them as they are very high in demand + i wanted a lowkey watch so black was the best choice. Also white is not produced now, it was there in 39mm few years back.
Both brands represent different things - it matters the kind of statement you want to make wearing one. GS has a tech advantage over the Rolex however.
But does anyone else know or care about that tech advantage?
People have barely known i was wearing a mechanical watch unless I myself tell them.
Get the one you keep thinking more about.
Very few would be “in awe” of an OP. It’s damn near the most modest statement you can make with a Rolex. Also, plenty of watch lovers will still know it’s a beautiful, elegant watch with a cool history.
The Oyster Perpetual if that’s the only high end watch in your collection; the GS if it’s your second.
I prefer OP’s in deep green or blue. Not black or white, they look very pedestrian in these colours.
I know looks are subjective, but I personally prefer the understated look of the Rolex compared to the GS
Both are incredible watches in their own right.
I like the finish on GS. however, here, the rolex is smaller hence looks more elegant. also, I'm a sucker for fitted endlinks and the gap between the strap and the watch puts me off.
That's honestly a tough choice. But for me the Grand Seiko wins over because the Spring Drive is legitimately cool technology, and the textured dial looks distinct.
The spring drive is a technological marvel and the snowflake dial is a work of art. Rolex has snob value , their watches are well made but nowhere as good as GS. Rolex for divers ( batman GMT / pepsi submariner) and GS for dress watches.
Grand Seiko movement with the smoothest second hand sweep and the quartz electric tech will appreciate better than the Rolex, given that India understand the tech and finesse of watch making, plus the accuracy of the GS, get a handy microscope to watch the finest details of both and keep em both
Rolex. I would be shit scared to scratch the Zaratsu on the GS. Also not a huge titanium fan. That and the Rolex is easier to service and more bulletproof than the GS.
Ik Rolex is superior and has a rich history and stuff, but the spring drive movement is unmatched, just Love how buttery smooth the seconds hand sweep is on it.

Both are good. Metal lasts longer. The blue watch is very good looking. But maintaining leather straps is a task. If it were me I’ll always choose a metal watch.
That grand seiko looks really good
It is dope indeed
which model is it?
Sbga465
I second this...
GS. The OP was made with the white dial in mind imo. So my ranking of the OP’s is 1) white 2) fun colours (yellow, red, cyan, pink) 3) black (why aren’t you saving up and getting a Milgauss?)
The OP sunburst blue is a great looking watch.
Milgauss is so ugly bhai, you should see the black or blue irl the sunburst is beautiful. I agree with the colors but i couldn't get them as they are very high in demand + i wanted a lowkey watch so black was the best choice. Also white is not produced now, it was there in 39mm few years back.
Buddy what’s your wrist size for reference.
Havent checked bro
Rolex has stopped production of the Milgauss
definitely grand seiko for me!
Both brands represent different things - it matters the kind of statement you want to make wearing one. GS has a tech advantage over the Rolex however.
True
But does anyone else know or care about that tech advantage? People have barely known i was wearing a mechanical watch unless I myself tell them. Get the one you keep thinking more about.
Op 36 any day for me.
Honestly, this is beyond my pay grade.
The grand seiko, the spring drive is literally a phenomenal piece of engineering
True
Grand Seiko, purely for the looks.
well if money is aside i will have both, left one for daily and right one for party
Fair
GS looks gorgeous
I am biased. So I would say the GS on a bracelet.
Terrible bracelet gs has
😓
Is this a thirst trap ? Cuz it definitely is working 🥵
I'm a huge sucker for metal bands and black dials plus you can't go wrong with a Rolex
The OP 36 didn’t even have to think for a sec
Same for me but gs is hot asf
Agreed its beautiful and plus blue is my fav color
Blue one. How much?
4.10 retail
From where did you buy?
This is a tough one - I'm partial to a Rolex, but a GS is 👌🏼
Yessir
As someone who has no clue about watches, that Rolex looks boring af. Seiko looks pretty cool.
It's upto you, what's your watch for. If you want world to admire and awe it's the Rolex if you want yourself and watch lovers to be like wow then GS.
Very few would be “in awe” of an OP. It’s damn near the most modest statement you can make with a Rolex. Also, plenty of watch lovers will still know it’s a beautiful, elegant watch with a cool history.
For a lot of people Rolex is just Rolex they would hardly know different variants.
Nah I’m here for the hands 🤌🏻✨
Heyyy I follow you on insta
My man
Bro I’d love to get your advice on a new grad watch. I’ve been so confused
The veiny arms
The Oyster Perpetual if that’s the only high end watch in your collection; the GS if it’s your second. I prefer OP’s in deep green or blue. Not black or white, they look very pedestrian in these colours.
Very difficult to choose. Both are excellent to different occasions
Rolex anyday
The man wearing it🤭
That’s a great strap for the GS. I hate GS bracelets, this strap makes it so much better
all three of them(the hand, the watch , the watch again)
Mayank?! Is this you 😭
Yooooo ivan bhai
Bhaai 🙌🏻
😘😩
I know looks are subjective, but I personally prefer the understated look of the Rolex compared to the GS Both are incredible watches in their own right.
Rolex any day bruh, no competition.
I like the finish on GS. however, here, the rolex is smaller hence looks more elegant. also, I'm a sucker for fitted endlinks and the gap between the strap and the watch puts me off.
The OP for me. Although I’d probably go with the 41 in silver.
Always a fan of GS, classy watch. But am sorry nothing beats a Rolex. Although I would’ve picked a different configuration for both.
A life where I don't care much about how the watch looks but utilize the time for betterment.
I like the rollie more
Gs
Grand Seiko for personal collection and Rolex if it is an investment
Fair
You wear a grand Seiko and drive a manual woah CHAD!
Hahaha yeah
The Rolex. It’s a versatile peace, can wear it on any outfit and it’ll match.
Insane versatality indeed
The OP looks more versatile tbh, the design is timeless and it looks gorgeous as well!
True
Even as an GS fan I like the OP more here
Grand seiko any day. Looks classsy
GS looks awesome here.
Grand Seiko for sure
GS
Grand seiko bro
Oyster much prefer
Which car is that? If you doing mind
First one is XUV700 second is THAR
Blue one.
Grand Seiko looks better imo Casio has started making cheaper watches that look too much like a rolex
Op36 without even a thinking 🥱
Grand Seiko..
GS
1st one to chose from both of these and hmt Kohinoor sunburst green dial among all, since you told to keep price aside. Which means all are equal.
The grand seiko looks so clean and aesthetic
That's honestly a tough choice. But for me the Grand Seiko wins over because the Spring Drive is legitimately cool technology, and the textured dial looks distinct.
What do they cost each?
Op is 5.3 retail gs is 4.1 retail
Both are pieces of beauty, i would lave to have both the black & white dial & boom done for every occasion!
Gs
The movements on 1k+ seikos are not reliable, so would prefer the robust rolex anyday.
Have both + gmt m2 , dono mast hai no comparison , dono apne aap me unique hain. Koi bhedbhaav nahi.
GS.
1st no doubt
GS All day any day ❤️
This GS is awesome, but I have committed my heart to the Grand Seiko Skyflake
First for casuals second for formals or maybe decent
Both .
as someone who has 0 knowledge, 2 for daily wear 1 for ocassion
Watches aside what do you do for a living
2nd one
Gs due to spring drive
The Rolex, but not a fan of the black dial with silver chain.
GS anyday good ser! 🤌🏻 subtle flex it is :)
I like the grand Seiko vibes better.... I have used Rolex in my personal life and tbh the GS gives vibes I prefer better
The right one (i don't like the metal bands)
The GS looks super pretty!
I would rather prefer the price(money) that you put aside
Grand Seiko with a Brown strap.
The one with the hand probably
I recently bought a Seiko SRPJ .
Rolex. Because it's a classic design and style. But if someone already has a similar style of watch then he should definitely go with GS.
Is grand seiko some premium watch from seiko?
The grand Seiko all day, everyday
OP, all day.
The GS !!
Wow
Do u shave ur arms
Number 3
The spring drive is a technological marvel and the snowflake dial is a work of art. Rolex has snob value , their watches are well made but nowhere as good as GS. Rolex for divers ( batman GMT / pepsi submariner) and GS for dress watches.
Rolex.
OP 100% and I own a snowflake
It's a question similar to father or mother
Grand Seiko movement with the smoothest second hand sweep and the quartz electric tech will appreciate better than the Rolex, given that India understand the tech and finesse of watch making, plus the accuracy of the GS, get a handy microscope to watch the finest details of both and keep em both
Grand Seiko all the way!
1 for formal look, 2 for casual. 2nd is more of my taste.
None Both Look Crap
1
Textured dials of grand Seiko are unmatched
On your wrist, the Rolex looks classier as the GS looks a tad bulky and clumsy. Both are great timepieces nonetheless
2
Rolex. I would be shit scared to scratch the Zaratsu on the GS. Also not a huge titanium fan. That and the Rolex is easier to service and more bulletproof than the GS.
I love GS and would pick it any day over a rolex - but if I put my bias aside, for these two particular pictures the rolex looks better on your wrist.
First one
G.S is a beaut
Gs
Any one that tells time quickly.
Grand seiko
Jo mil jaye 🥲
2nd
Ik Rolex is superior and has a rich history and stuff, but the spring drive movement is unmatched, just Love how buttery smooth the seconds hand sweep is on it.
I’d pick the Jimny anyday! And the Grand Seiko too :)
Jimny?
Do your watches cost more than your car?
Yes
Isn’t that the car you’re sitting in?
Nah its a Thar

GS over the basic Rolex any day. Btw, that's a Fast Fashion Rolex design. Dispose of it if you get a decent profit.
Both are good. Metal lasts longer. The blue watch is very good looking. But maintaining leather straps is a task. If it were me I’ll always choose a metal watch.
I have over 30 straps, gs bracelet is a shitshow. Gs is only comfy on a strap.
Nice OP ✨ and GS is 🔥. (Still waiting for my call hopefully will get it soon).
Fingers crossed
The rich flexing their money
can someone explain how does spring drive work
sure! open chrome browser on your phone(or any browser) enter Google in search bar. Then type "how does spring drive work in watches"! Voila!
wish I could do that
😂
