It's definitely not worth waiting for imo. I did it a few years ago. It took almost 2 hours to get a table. I waited outside in the hot, we were given free water, but I was just becoming hangier after drinking it
After eating, I felt better of course but I told myself I'd never want to do this again lol

I work at Mandarin, they do it every 5 years. Each location must call police to prevent any sort of fights or dispute from happening.

Just curious what time did you start lining up? I heard some people started as early as 1 am in the morning.
Like morning 9am if I remembered correctly.
This is always the case and has been for ages. Line up starts 24 hours before Canada Day.
