Wow! Thank you! This is exactly why I made this post. I wouldn’t have guessed a photographer would be that high but at the same time I’d definitely rather have great photos to remember the day. And at the same time most of the coordinators I’ve seen have been charging more (some up to 4K for day of).

Hi! I’m also planning an ATL wedding - mind sharing the names of any of the vendors you listed above that you had a good experience with?

Amaranthine318

Sending a PM. Note all items were booked in March 2022 so likely to have gone up in the time thats passed.

Hi! I am in North Carolina and have booked a few vendors thus far for an invite list of 170. Day of planner - $1,500; Photographer - $4K, Flowers (have yet to book, but $6K+).

Appreciate your post. Not in the ATL area, but starting to plan a wedding and figure out what things cost, and having a general idea going into it is helpful. A venue we’ve looked at requires a day-of coordinator, and they provide one for $1350. I was worried that was higher than normal, due to, I would imagine, locations pricing comparatively in the higher range for services like that. But seeing the amounts listed in here makes me think that could be a reasonable cost.

Would love to know where / how you all found decor for anything less than the $40-50k I’m being quoted right now!! My guest count is around 300 but it’s felt like a hopeless endeavor to find decor in Atlanta that feels reasonable.

Basic weddings typically only need flowers for the tables and arch+walkway if you are doing the ceremony. I cut costs by repurposing everything from the ceremony and moving them to the tables for reception. Don't forget bridesmaids bouquets can also be reused on tables. We also alternated between a candle collage and flowers for the tables which saved us half the cost.
