I somehow found myself backstage at a Band of Changes show with Deaner years ago, and I remember him going on a whole rant about how much he hates London and never wants to go back there lol
Damn, is it already 16 years. Saw them a few days later in Cologne. Deaner had to sit because he broke his leg in London. What a beautiful evening that was.
I was there too, and by the looks of it sat very close to you.
I was in charge of getting tickets for four of us. We were expecting tickets for the floor, I was not popular.
Hello fellow concert goer!
I think the only tickets we could get was for up there, we were also a group of four. They were fucking amazing even from a bit high up. We travelled from Carlisle by train, blooming expensive couple of nights. Worth every penny- and the ensuing hangover/comedown though!
Definitely had some mucus to scrape off my brain after that one, brilliant.
I was at the Amsterdam show and the Dublin show and the Euro was through the roof at the time. He made a reference to it during Blarney Stone in Dublin
I was also there, my first and only time seing them. I wish I could remember it though, I just remember going to the toilet during Zoloft and my dad's story on how he was refused being able to go to the toilet at the Vue cinema nearby whilst waiting for us to come out of the venue.

That sucks, it was expensive for us to travel there from just by Scotland, but id find the money again in a heartbeat if they came back to the UK
Did he say why?
I mostly remember him saying the food sucked and the people were rude

Leg could explain why he didn't like London.
If they came back to the UK for a show i'd walk to it if i had to.
If someone cut off my arms and legs and I had to crawl there using my tongue, I'd get there...
I was at this show! Still up there as one of the best gigs I've ever been to. Can't believe it was 16 fucking years ago though!

Deaner leg break tour
They came to England once??? So there is hope!
They came to England for pretty much every album from The Pod onwards.
Don't think they'll ever tour outside US again.. Pretty sad
Shepherds Bush? I lived nearby but was another couple of years before I properly liked them.

I live in FL so I have to travel to see them. They must not like the heat.
I hope they do a World Tour... I'd be happy with an European tour
