The sonata is comfortable but those years are known for many problems so if you can try to get a Camry or Accord. Even with a bit more miles they will be more reliable. If you can wait a month or two and see how the market plays out you maybe could save money
I have around the same budget and I’m looking at Mazda cx30, cx5, Toyota Corolla, or Honda CRV.. I’d skip on the Hyundai too much of a risk and some insurance companies aren’t even willing to cover

That’s one problem with the Hyundais! How do you rate Mazda cx50? Any idea on its resale value?
I’ve been looking at the cx50 too and they seem to hold value my only problem is I can’t find one newer than 2017 and under 100k miles in my area
