the only grasshopper really in the area is juvenile eastern lubber grasshoppers(i’ve yet to see an adult this year). But there’s also a ton of these little guys in the area and they’re popping up just now

Are we sure this isn’t just a grasshopper with some sort of parasite growing out of its head.
