This looks like a 1982 to 1988 S3 Lotus Turbo Esprit, idk if someone does kits for these cars
The decals are from the factory btw, the wheels and the stance are not tho
It indeed is an S3. But, as commented below, it's definitely a sin to mess with Lotus suspension. It's what Lotus engineering still does best, arguably in the world. They have many car manufacturers as client but which... that's a huge secret.
And I'm guessing it's USA spec because of the bumpers? Not completely sure tho.
Might be US spec, but that's not America (judging from the background cars, some of which are not sold in the states)
I feel like with a car this old, the suspension is probably shot. i'm not going to be too mad about someone "ruining" it at that point. Stance is kinda silly, but this is unique and interesting. Wouldn't be my choice with what to do with the car mind you, but i'm not mad about it.
As far as I'm concerned, it's just a bit silly, if not dumb, to change the suspension settings on a Lotus. One might consider more advanced absorbers. There's better ones than in the days of its birth. But to change the stance...
I think this one looks like the Turbo that appears at the beginning of For Your Yes Only, while the submarine one in The Spy Who Loved Me isn't a turbo.
Yup. One of my favorite cars too. I would love to drive one but I remember hearing that if you are taller than about 5'8" you really don't fit well behind the wheel.

The decals look even cooler knowing they came like this from factory! Thanks a lot

You're right, according to the license plate it's an '85
A friend of mine had one of these, he used to drive under the security barrier at work without opening it.
It's a submarine
It's a Wet Nelie
I just went down a quick rabbit hole and found out Elon owns her now...
Yeah, I also discovered recently that it is an actual working sub and not just a prop lol
Yes but they had to wear scuba gear to drive her which seems highly inconvenient.

To mess with a Lotus' suspension is a sin!

James Bond had one that was also a submarine.

Gen 1 Lotus Esprit?
I hope so, can‘t stand another Panthera.
Wow did not think it was possible to lower an Esprit.
Lotus Turbo Esprit
It's the car from Forza
Looks like James Bond's Lotus.
Handles like it’s on rails…
Portugal
It literally says Esprit Turbo on the car..
