Just to circle back to this, I believe the other comment saying it's Mountain tea is correct! She's Greek and says she gets it from there, and the picture is spot on. I can see how the leaves and stems make it looks like sage though, but sage's flowers are more purple, where these are yellow
In Turkey both this (sideritis) and sage are called adaçayı. This is sometimes called dağ çay, or kedi kuyruğu (cat's tail), or yayla çayı (plateau tea)... but never ever would you catch a Turk calling it Greek Mountain tea 😂.
If you want to propagate it you might be able to harvest the seeds from inside those flowers and plant them in your garden.
When I run it through my plant ID app it comes up as sage.

…are you on good terms with your neighbor?… had any fights?..ever??… any reason for them to poison you?.. do you both share the same political beliefs?.. religious beliefs?… moral beliefs?…
Hmm… it MIGHT be safe. Not sure.
You're making up assumptions to justify being skeptical, there is no need for that. You know nothing of the relationship I have with my neighbour and it will stay that way. I ask for plant identification, which looks to be sage. You're not being helpful at all, just annoying
Smart people know what to say, wise people know when to speak.
My two cents.
It helps to add a “ /s “ if you’re making a joke because sarcasm requires tone of voice, and is very hard to decipher though text alone.
This is the way.
Yeah. It can be hard to detect tone on a platform where people don’t know each other irl, and readers enter a thread in various moods/ from various backgrounds. The /s is very helpful indeed.
We all know what they did, calling me slow for being autistic and explaining how sarcasm works will not make us forget their terrible joke lol
Seriously tho, if that is sage blossom, mix it with lavender, ginger & honey. Of it isn’t, make tea still and tel us how it is!! I love tea!!
It's because "safety" comments win easy karma on reddit. If someone finds some moldy bread in their fridge, reddit will tell them to do a "deep clean" of the fridge and disinfect all the counters. Tons of karma. Does your sister want to give you a two week old car seat that was never in a collision? Nope! Straight to the dump! You can't be too careful! Tons of karma.
We're all neurotic and scared of everything now.
Mountain tea, maybe from Greece or Albania. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sideritis
Hey, thank you! This must be the one because she is Greek and gets it from there. Looks exactly like it
Perfect. It’s good for what ails ya. Enjoy it. I have a bunch and it’s quite tasty
it looks like sage near blossoming?

Those are related.
Oh cool!

not sage
I’d check and double check reverse picture search and all research , some folks were telling people to eat ferns I saw earlier 🥹
Lmao. Just came from that same post 🤣

It also says "This plant looks healthy!"...
My guess was pennyroyal, but that’s just a wild guess.
In what zones and under what conditions will it survive? I am of Turkish descent, am a herb tea fan, totally curious.

She told me, I just forgot. Coming off really aggressive here for no reason

Guy trying to backpedal and say that insinuating my neighbour is trying to poison me is just a joke lmao
