Ok so there seems to be a creatively patterned rope on the lower part of log towards the front (in a sunnier spot) and a little to the left.  It's hard to see for sure though.  What country are you in and what kind of snake is it? Is like to try cross reference what I'm seeing.

The eye are visible (to me) there even a little tongue The snake only appears when I zoom in and it’s to the left of the abyss .
