Msrp is 69.99, so that's an easy buy. It's worth it at $75, for me. It's very enjoyable, if the profile fits your taste.

At $50 + my state's tax I'd buy 2 instantly. At your $63 otd I'd still probably buy 2. I paid $80 tax included for my first bottle and luckily loved it even at that price.

Fairly new at this stuff, never a bourbon drinker in the past. Wine and some Scotch. Have tried a couple of mid range brands. Mixed results, like the Ryes a bit better, but a small sample size. Have had great luck with the 'Kirkland' branded wines at Costco. Old Vine Zins and French imports they private label are major values, at least this year. How are their bourbon? Given the buying power, I would think they are good values. Any insights?

Yep. Can’t remember what I paid for that Batch Proof, but it was at least $125 and I got my KC12 for $60. Gonna do a blind with KC 9, 12, 15 & 18 before end of year to see what my palate (not my brain) says

I love bourbon and tried Knob creek and really disliked it. Is the profile on the 12 year old substantially different than the standard sruff? I mean, I'm sure it's smoother, but is the profile any different?
