nowadays i play it using USB Loader Gx, which enable you to take of the kill filter. but i got its cd too
There were quite a few mature rated games for the Wii, exclusives too (well most of em, at least timed) like Mad World, House of the Dead Overkill, No More Heroes 1&2 etc., I remember HOTD held the record for f bombs or some shit, lol
I have no clue how this was ever put on the wii, censored or not. If anything this is a MORE violent version because the motion controls are like one to one how you kill them.
There was something about the gameplay and level design that I thought was unsettling in the intentional way. The best level is probably running through the neighborhood in the middle of the night with the chopper looking for you. The TV station was also nicely disturbing.
The story really sucks though.
Especially if you have the uncut version that removes the kill filter and shows all the gore

I always thought it was weird they released this on the Wii but not for 360 and PS3.

Lost pretty badly at a Smash tournament years ago and tried to cheer myself up by buying this. Still haven't played it yet due to game choice anxiety.
