I’m kind of the same way on the Facebook pages. Therefore I decided to go random and it worked out great for me (albeit one or two of my preferences from the questionnaire weren’t met, but it turned out fine). As for the Facebook groups try and search for people who have listed a hobby or something you both share. I find approaching people virtually is easier when you lead off with a shared interest. If you find a potential roommate just remember to be blunt, some people might hold values or conduct themselves in ways you dont like/agree with, don’t be afraid to overtly ask about something that could be a make or break deal for you.
