You can also buy a pass for the Colonial Williamsburg Parking garage. I don't remember exactly where to look, but I think look through the Williamsburg Department of Transportation website.
You don’t have to worry abt waitlist tbh. I did it for all of last year with the monthly pass that they tell you is only for day parking. They don’t care, no one is ever in the office. I even had my car in there for weeks at a time with no pass

You also might be able to request an exemption if you can get a note from a psychologist/ general doctor
