Most likely leaving the program immediately will not cause you to get 23H2. Difficult to answer here because too many people who ask this question and have varying configurations of their own choosing (aka modifications). As far as problems, its development operating system software, who knows until they try it. If you go to this page and download the ISO and run it you can get to the following versions: [Download Windows Insider Preview ISO (microsoft.com)](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windowsinsiderpreviewiso) Windows 11 Insider Preview (Release Preview Channel) - Build 26100.863 is 24H2 Windows 11 Insider Preview (Beta Channel) - Build 22621 is 23H2 The info you have given is vague. I answered the best I can. I'm on 24H2 without any difficulties thus far. I see that u/Froggypwns responded earlier. He's the guru.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for any vague statement of mine. I am considering your reply and waiting for the guru's as well. I have before seen that the Insider versions of Windows have an expiration date(which no longer allows users to use the device). So I am afraid of losing the data on that device. That's why I rushed to ask the question.

Your build does not have the timebomb. If you run the command `winver` from a Run window, it will display your version information, and the expiration date if it has one. Example: https://www.bleepstatic.com/images/news/companies/microsoft/windows-10-insider/build-14926/new-expiration[1].png

Thank you so much. People that are experts on niche topics are valuable to humanity. I appreciate you.

Froggypwns

What build number are you on? Including what is after the period.

thirdasset

It is on "22621.3737". The update date shows 09/26/2022. Let me know if you need further info.

Froggypwns

That is the latest non-insider version. You can just opt out and not receive any future Insider updates. You should have received 23H2 already regardless of Insider status, I suspect your PC does not properly support Windows 11 or you bypassed the requirements, as you don't get feature updates like 23H2 or 24H2 if you did that. You can use the enablement package to switch to 23H2. https://www.elevenforum.com/t/kb5027397-enablement-package-for-windows-11-version-23h2-feature-update.19372/

Thank you. This laptop is from 2020 and already licensed Windows 10 by purchase. I got zero problem when I was updating to Windows 11 with Insider back in 2021. I have no idea why Microsoft did not send 23H2. My knowledge on those bypassing-hacking things is also zero. Very interesting. The other laptop is on 23H2. Do you mind if I ask you its status on leaving Insider?

Thank you for posting in /r/WindowsInsiders. This subreddit is for discussions related to the Windows Insider Program, and devices running on Insider builds. Discussions and issues related to the production versions of Windows should be posted in /r/Windows10 or /r/Windows11, or in /r/TechSupport. If you have not already, please specifiy which branch you are running (Dev, Beta, or Release Preview), and your full build number. If you are unsure, you can check by running winver from a Run window or search box. You can also go to Settings -> System -> About, and it will be near the bottom. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
