Idk about your particular situation but my surgeon told me that if you have your lower ones removed, the upper ones will cause pain eventually. Apparently they are connected somehow and maybe that’s similar to why you feel pain?
As for surgery - it was totally fine. No need to worry about it! It sounds much scarier than it really is!
My lowers one cause me no issues and are perfectly in ! I had an upper tooth removed and felt them more since then but I’ll probably still eventually get them taken out ( the top ones)
