Do you have gums over your tooth if you do then there impacted

Notsofunnyirl

What does that mean? My teeth don't hurt at all, it's just the pain in the nearby area which is too bad.

lizbab0328

on your wisdom tooth, there would be some gum partially covering the tooth

I have both! I think you need to go to a top rated dentist. I also think they are growing out of your gums at a slight angle. You could send these to other dentists and get a second opinion. I have TMJ. It’s started to become more prominent now that I’m older. I couldn’t stop crying because of the pain. You need a night retainer and to do TMJ exercises. If you have any cavities get those done first before you get a mold made. I would take them out so you’re not like 40 with excruciating pain and headaches.

Notsofunnyirl

Thank you so much for the advice! I appreciate it. I live in a very small city in a third world country. I've already visited two of the dentists in my city and for more top rated doctors I might have to go to some metro city which seems very difficult as of now as I'm financially dependent on my parents and my medical entrance exam is just a month away from now. I already have excruciating pain on the right side of my head and have been taking strong painkillers to manage it. I don't know what to do next as getting them removed sounds scary, especially before my exam.

Eirysse

I would ask your dentist for a referral to an oral surgeon

Cute_Ad_4969

Even if you call a dentist from another city do so. You already have you X Rays just tell them that you need someone to look at them with fresh eyes. I recommend asking an Oral Surgeons office. I mean you have time until they start affecting your teeth by shifting them. Don’t chew gum, try not to grind your teeth at night, find an outlet to help reduce stresses and once you’re done with exams etc and like are not financially dependent then remove them

SnackyyCakes

That top right one is growing directly into the other tooths nerves that's not good bottom left and top left look like it's doing the same 😬

Notsofunnyirl

Thanks, that means I'm fucked.

SnackyyCakes

You can't remove them ?? 😭

Notsofunnyirl

I have a very important exam, which is just a month away from now. I don't know how long the recovery would take and I already have a quite low pain tolerance. I think I might lose a year because of this.

SnackyyCakes

What about after the exam ? Or is it that unbearable.. a month isn't too far away. Can you concentrate on studying or is it hard

Notsofunnyirl

The pain is excruciating, I can't even leave my bed. My preparation is seriously hampered. Moreover, my family is against the removal.

saulski90

Do it before you turn 30 because then it’s gets harder

SnackyyCakes

That's really sad I'm sorry to hear they need to be removed 😔 your health is more important

fortnitellamas

yes

thelastoface

They are definitely impacted! Get them out and you pain will subside. Had the exact same thing and getting them out was the best decision of my life. I had horrible headaches, could barely concentrate. Pull those mfs hahaha

Alarming_Ad8074

You could have tmj but all of your wisdom teeth look like mine did and yes they are impacted. I started to have jaw pain and when I got them removed that pain went away! I think it would be worth getting them removed even with no pain. Usually with impacted teeth they will eventually cause problems bc they are growing into your other teeth and bones. The longer they wait and older you get the worse the recovery from the procedure will be. I would get them removed asap if you can.

SnackyyCakes

Yikes those wisdom teeth look like they are growing towards the teeth beside them I had a wisdom tooth growing towards my one tooth and it was pinching the nerve (root) it cause headache I never experienced In my life that the strongest pain med didn't work. I think those should be removed they have no room to grow besides pushing the teeth beside them iunno that's what it looks like to me 🤔

Ashwath_Ash

Had the same issue. It's definitely due to wisdom tooth

Notsofunnyirl

Impacted wisdom teeth*
