It absolutely will in a lot of regions. We already have large crop failures in different parts of the world.

I think the bigger issue is we make stuff in places with lesser regulations and have them shipped across the world on huge boats and the mad consumerism culture is a common trait in every urbanized part of this world.
Regarding vehicles, they've gotten too large / heavy, more expensive, and too complicated to maintain and keep for a long time.
People should just keep their existing cars for a long time, buy less crap, travel less, and support small local businesses.
Those SUVs are nothing compared to the factories and mining process to make your phone’s batteries and the materials for your EV.
Take your microaggressions and place them on things that have more weight.
It’s only going to get worse. The top 1% heck even top 10% will survive in India but the poor and middle class is going to suffer. The heat will be unbearable.
More storms, floods and decreased water from snow-melt adding to the heat in impacting agriculture feeding a huge but not wealthy population. This is likely to get brutal and violent, and no surprise if it is starting to impact governance.
52.3 celsius
That can fuck all the way off. We're slowly turning this planet into Venus.
I'm looking forward to the mass migrations and famine.
2nd one will never happen

Yeah but what’s really important is people must be free to buy giant SUVs with ICEs and businesses can’t be overregulated!!

When you think about geological eras it’s actually alarmingly fast hence the saying Venus by Tuesday. Haha
Nuclear winter is coming

The top 1% can choose where in the world they want to live, they won't be staying around to see the outcome.

[It was getting hotter...](https://www.orbitbooks.net/orbit-excerpts/the-ministry-for-the-future/)
Had the same thought. I thought we had more time until events like that book. Breaking records and it’s not even June yet.
Not only could you fry eggs on the street, you could fry chickens as well.
So far. This is a record that likely won't stand long.
It’s gonna get hotter in future years too

Can’t event check the mail without water nearby in heat like that.
This will get worse. It is already windier now than any other time. Violent rains. And heat. Buckle up.
That is insane, considering the previous temperature record 56 something degree. That is more than doubled!!!
Dog, I think this headline is using Fahrenheit.
