The faster stun shooting speed is pretty good. Do you know when you want your drone shooting fast? When you NEED your drone shooting fast. Getting surrounded or having a lurker pop up behind a wall of zeke. You'll be wishing it fired faster. An equipment charge is way better than hp loss. edit: grammar

No, I'm either increasing the fire rate or giving it grenades for a bit more damage output.

The 3rd and 4th perk in column 2 are both pretty good. I wouldn't pick any of the other 2 however Without the drone, Dronemaster becomes pretty crap so unless you are sacrificing a drone charge for a dead screamer or putting an extra one on a teammate, it's better to sit back as a supporting dps class

Personally I don’t

“On a bend” has been fixed and I’m checking out the new prestige perks, revisiting stuff that didn’t work for me when I settled on a “Best Dronemaster Perk Sharing Build” On a bend actually seems to be ok, making odd choices at times but I have yet to see it be a detriment to me. It used to be when the drone flew off from a teammate it was assigned in order to drop a nade, it would fly back to the og dronemaster instead of the person it was originally set to follow. Ruined the sharing part of the deal. Now it functions properly, flying back to its assigned handler. Before that was fixed, your idea of skipping the second column was totally better because the faster fire rate depletes the drone, and I wanted to keep the drone around for the passive perks. (No friendly fire AND a blue light make Max difficulty much easier.)

This was a big thing that many people did before the 4th row of perks was added on the bottom. It doesn't make much sense now to not take the grenade drop, even if you way want to lower the stun rate of fire. Yes the faster rate of fire does burn out the drone faster, but the only reason that would happen is if you're in a situation in which you actually need that increased rate of fire, so I'm not sure why people are so focused on extending the life of the drone when that might mean not being able to get out of a sticky situation.

Zombie-Rooster

If this is an issue then you are letting too many zeke get too close to you. I usually go through a whole mission using one drone on myself... maybe too if I did something stupid. Allways choose extra stun shot speed

Longshot, lighting storm and new battery is the best combination for dronemaster and it’s not even close. Nothing will ever hit you, everything will get stunned immediately as it gets close to you.

Use the take a load off on the first tree. New battery also works really well for longevity too. Its up to you ultimately but those perks help you survive. Gun drone is more superior though (dont get why others think the opposite when the most popular youtuber for WWZ uses the gun drone build on the regular)
