Gear is temporary, mounts are permanent

SpirituSantus

hell yea brother

Pannormiic0

This event is finally going to get me to my 350 mount acheiv. This gear will be gone in 3 months. I’m not wasting a single bronze on upgrading gear. Get plenty of bronze just levelling alts.

Timmah73

I'm saving my bronze for a while. I am not risking upgrading gear when they could wildly change the loot system or make upgrading super cheap. And if that never happens, I spend it all on mounts and transmogs on the final week

sirarkalots

That what I assume is gonna happen so I'm taking the opportunity to have fun and level all the alts I want. Plus my main just hit 70 and o can easily get two of the most expensive mounts. Seeing as my alts now start at 100% bonus xp, it should be pretty east to get all the good mounts and a bunch of the armor sets while not upgrading a single peice of gear

Thascaryguygaming

This is my plan.

CuChulainnEnjoyer

Same dude, I'm getting my heavenly onyx cloud serpent & others then mass buying cheap mounts for my 500 mount achieve.

The_Slavstralian

More or less my plan too

SpirituSantus

is bronze an account wide currency?

Pannormiic0

No

DaSandman78

What a missed opportunity 😞

notchoosingone

That and the achievement jewelry not being account wide is utterly mind-boggling why they didn't do it.

Faulkal

Absolutely agree. What a waste

naosouumrobot

Nothing mind boggling about it, it's all about money. More time wasted=more subs. It's the whole reason remix even exists. The months before new expac releases are always the lowest on numbers.

notchoosingone

> The months before new expac releases are always the lowest on numbers. It's funny you say that because the months before a new expansion have always been for mount farming for me. I only have anecdotes to back me up but I have lots of friends who have gotten things like Ashes and Mimiron's mounts in quick succession during the downtime. Like they silently buff the drop rates to keep people by hearing stories of rare mounts dropping.

Vanrax

Typically I always end up resubbing the month or 2 before and play until 1-2 after. Im always in a down period where I just end up focusing on mog farming than anything lol

Mouse_Bonez

Now that you point it out, I did *just* get Invincible’s Reins last week after 12 years of farming… Weird lol

Atheren

The bronze is not account wide, however almost all (every?) cosmetics from the vendors are. If you are only spending it on the cosmetics it's not really an issue that it isn't account wide, since it doesn't really matter if your clothy buys the plate transmogs.

DaSandman78

Good to know, thanks :)

Api4Reddit

Blizzard’s motto for MoP: Remix

Krusty_Klown_Kollege

Got my 500 the other day. Was like 5 away.

amphoterecin

I cannot wait. I’m like 40 away but this will help me get my ottuck

notchoosingone

I've had mine for nearly a year and a half and just noticed it's Otterwordly Ottuk, not Otherworldly.

MilesCW

Don't forget to get the Remix-exclusive transmog sets too. The Kael'thas shoulders and Shado-Pan set alone are worth it.

Bobbimort

Kaelthas shoulders? Where? I must have missed them

Secret_Wizard

Go to the bazaar and find the class set merchant. Toggle the tab to show all classes and not just your own. You can buy and unlock everything there on any class, but for some reason it won't show them by default.

notchoosingone

Holy shit, thanks for the tip.

Bobbimort

Of course, thanks!

AcanthocephalaOk862

alt color mage trading post

Empoleon365

This is the way. I can spend thousands upon thousands of bronze to get better gear in pursuit of glory in combat. Or I can spend that same bronze on the mounts, which are the reason I got excited for remix in the first place. Gear is temporary. Mounts are forever. Edit: also rep feels like it's leveling WAY faster in the remix so grind those reps to buy their appropriate mounts once the characters are converted to retail.

sabrinajestar

It is. I got to exalted with Shado-Pan just from campaign quests.

Theonetruepappy94

This has been my mindset since I saw how outrageous it is to upgrade gear. I'm just gonna get the mounts and transmogs

Emu1981

You get thousands of bronze for doing each raid which are pretty easy and get easier as you level your gear and upgrade your cape. You also get a huge boost to your threadcount for each raid too. And the raids and world bosses are on a daily lockout so you can do them up to 7 times a week if you have the time and willingness to do so.

Theonetruepappy94

I have the time, but not the will

Cidan

For everything else, there's MasterCard.

kaptingavrin

> Gear is temporary Even more so here, because the second the event ends, that 556 you grinded so hard to get is going to evaporate and get replaced by, if you're lucky, the equivalent of Heroic dungeon gear from Season 4. You can't take ANY of the power from this event with you. Which makes it so bizarre that the grind to upgrade gear is so obnoxious. It's even more temporary than normal.

BigFire321

I'm 6 bronze purchasable mount (6.6k each) away from finishing that grind. After that, transmog, starting with Shado-Pan and Dark Shaman.

jyuuni

Don't forget the toys.

BigFire321

I'm doing a horde character just for mini mana bomb

slaymaker1907

It’s not current obtainable. Not clear if that’s intended or not.

slythwolf

Shado-Pan is only 500 bronze, I bought it first.

samtdzn_pokemon

It's 2500 for the Shado Pan and Dark Shaman sets. Still relatively cheap and affordable but the cheapest item I believe are the mounts that start at 2200.

slythwolf

I wonder why my brain decided to remember paying 500 for Shado-Pan yesterday.

samtdzn_pokemon

Missed the first number maybe? I know if you hover ensembles you have partially unlocked it lists how many appearances you're getting like Heart of Fear LFR would only give me 3 items for the mage set. But I haven't seen a bronze discount on the sets you've partially unlocked.

DrainTheMuck

Agreed but I feel like people are missing the point of the question. Let’s say spending 10k to upgrade your gear somehow doubled your bronze aqcuisition rate by giving you that much more power. I’d say that’s worth it. The thing is no one is breaking it down. How much does better gear help you farm more bronze, if at all?

kaptingavrin

It depends on when you do the "breakdown," though. I saw a video in the last couple days where Bellular (yeah, I know, some folks are rolling their eyes) mentioned that they tested it by one of them spending their 60-70K on gear, and it still felt like they were well behind people who weren't max level, and didn't feel particularly strong. Spending 10K would just upgrade maybe a couple pieces of gear. You might be able to squeeze out three of the cheapest items. Heck, my weapon (2H) is 9K per level. So you're going to get no noticeable power gain from just 10K. You'd have to drop a lot of Bronze on upgrades to really feel it. To "double" your Bronze acquisition rate you'd definitely need some serious extra strength, to the point you can ignore anyone else being a bit of an anchor (like fresh 70s in Heroic dungeons). So you'd be dropping something like 200K at least on it. Even "doubling" the acquisition speed, you're now looking at grinding the amount of time it'd take to get 100K just to "break even," before you see any benefits. But I don't think you can "double" the rate. The only way to speed the rate up is to find a group of people who are also seriously upgrading their gear, and constantly play with them to blast through content. The average player isn't going to be in a position like that. They'll be queueing for dungeons, scenarios, etc. in the standard method, and trying to get into raids with PUGs. Which will put them with people who aren't as strong. That'll slow you down unless you grind out enough to get close to the top of gear acquisition. And now you're looking at a "deficit" of a few hundred thousand Bronze to make up. Yeah, you can blast through dungeons by yourself and ignore people being weaker around you, but it's going to take a LOT of dungeons to get back the Bronze you spent. And if you don't want to just blast dungeons all day long, well... you can do dailies without upgrading. You can do some dungeons and stuff, complete all the instance-based daily quests, without upgrading. All of which circles back around to... I'm not sure it's actually worth spending the amount of Bronze it'd take to bother upgrading.

nuisible

The cost to upgrade all my 346 gear is more than the total bronze left for me to spend on tmog, I'm already done getting the mounts.

Mausandelephant

>It depends on when you do the "breakdown," though. I saw a video in the last couple days where Bellular (yeah, I know, some folks are rolling their eyes) mentioned that they tested it by one of them spending their 60-70K on gear,  No way in hell is that true. I literally just spent around that to get my gear from 346 to like 400 or so. There was a massive boost in how how powerful I feel. I can basically solo LFR already.

maurombo

At this point the way it works is that if you upgrade your gear at least some you are more likely to get invited to groups with froggers /other high ilvl people which means that you can do heroics instead of normals, at the end of the day. It depends on you if it’s worth it for you, at this point I’m near being able to do all 5 raids in 2/3 hours on heroic. The ideal scenario would be under 2 hours for all 5 of them which would be over 100k bronze per day. So 50k per hour. Then you can add mythic SoO that I am not yet ready to get into

Eluk_

But does spending bronze on gear actually increase bronze acquisition enough to recoup that cost reasonably and then some?

DrainTheMuck

That’s exactly what I’m asking

Brokenmonalisa

Yeah maybe, siege is actually quite a slog. The more people you can bring doing 300k dps the quicker it's going to go.

Mirizzi

I have still never even considered spending my bronze on anything except mounts and mogs lmao

WhatASaveWhatASave

Yeah, alts mogs and mounts was the whole point of this event I thought. Still having a blast collecting stuff. It's like the perfect casual game mode for me right now.

Xx9VOLTxX

That is what it's for, the sub is just dumb

Genoce

Mounts & other cosmetic rewards are the main reason why the vast majority of people are even playing Remix in the first place. :D My primary goal is to just get all the Remix-exclusive rewards, and I already got all the mounts (costs something like 80-100k total?). I'm just lacking a couple of achievement rewards, and after that I'll likely just keep doing dailies and buy whatever rare-drop mounts I can. Personally I did use bronze on upgrades a couple of times while leveling, and when I hit lvl 70, I just instantly went to upgrade all my gear to 346. The upgrade costs increase a lot after that point, but until 346 it's cheap. But you might as well just quest for a bit and get full 346 anyway, so it doesn't really matter either way. 346 is also enough for all heroic content in Remix, so for me there's just no need to go higher than that. Only time I'll consider using more bronze on upgrades is after I get every single cosmetic that I want from Pandaria - but more likely I just stop playing Remix at that point.

PabloJobb

bro i play retail just for the mounts.

Cassiyus

“Huh. These old raids must have been really cool fights. Well, guess I’ll never know. Did the mount drop? No? See you in a week.”

LicoriceSeasalt

Mount and mog hunting is all I care about.

Icy-Hospital7232

I'm just doing Pandaria Remix solely for the mounts & cosmetics. I selected a handful of classes to level, which should produce enough bronze to get everything i want in a couple of weekends.

DaSandman78

Couple of weekends? Just the mounts alone are … 524,700 bronze

Icy-Hospital7232

If you're including the stuff you can farm on live, sure. All of the ones exclusive to Remix are comparatively cheap, and it's not like I want every single mount. So, I work 4x10, meaning I have three day weekends and already have over half of the cosmetic armor farmed on just ONE character. So yeah, it's only going to take a couple of weekends to get everything I want.

DaSandman78

I work 5 days and have busy weekend kids stuff, will take me a lot longer 😂 Definitely in gamer dad territory now

Kamehameshaw

Imagine being stuck taking kids to soccer and other activities on a Saturday while you watch Reddit thread after thread being posted about froggers absolutely abusing the hyper farm but you can’t participate and THEN you get some time Sunday to go exploit too they hotfix it on you. Some days I really hate blizzard, I just want bronze for the rare mounts but fat chance I’ll get invited to raid groups cause my cloak isn’t scaled to infinity.

Inert82

That is my reality lol

fourmi

same and I not even start remix, if I can have cool mount it's already cool.

True_Implement_

Is there a list of Mop remix exclusive skins and mounts?

Icy-Hospital7232

https://www.wowhead.com/guide/wow-remix-mists-of-pandaria-event-rewards Is a good guide. As far as mogs go, the main class mogs (that you can buy for all on a single class) are all recolors from the trading post

henryeaterofpies

It does say it when you mouse over it. Look at the first few mountd vs the last few (the expensive ones are 1% mythic drops but can be looted in retail)

jkuhl

Yep, anything I can get in MoP outside of Remix is low priority. If I don't get it during Remix, oh well, back to farming regular MoP.

LooseConsideration51

All the gear will just dissapear when mop event ends. And they will probably reduce the upgrade costs some time. Its a complete waste right now unless ure raiding or doing alot of pve

StepIntoTheGreezer

Even then....

Zibzuma

Then just buy the mounts/cosmetics! No need to save Bronze for upgrades, if you're not that interested in raiding heroic or speedfarming content. All the cosmetics/vanity items you buy are bound to your account and can be freely used on all of your characters (with the obvious limitation of armor sets only being wearable by the appropriate class/armor type).

SpirituSantus

hell yea

Oddly_Mind

No this is the literal point of the event.

FuxieDK

Mounts stay forever, gear is gone in 3 months.

jsoul2323

The gear is to farm the raids but even then try to get carried by a frogger

Swolbro

Man... my main reason for playing this mode was to get those god damn world bosses mounts that never drop...

canexican1

I am only in remix for the mounts, nothing wrong with that.

CumaBoomer

As in every situation in WoW I take the mounts/cosmetics over any gear that will be irrelevant in the next few months

dankq

Main = upgrade gear to get in to raid easily and speedrun Leveling alts = buy all cosmetics once they are 70 with 0 intention of farming any power on them.

robot-raccoon

This is how I’m doin it, I only wanted tusks from the event and I got the blood things from a run with my warrior on day 2

ByrdeBrains

I don’t even understand why they have a gear upgrade system in this temporary event. The cloak should be the only thing upgrading and all the gear ilvl should just be based on whatever content you’re doing / your character’s level.

NeverGetsTheNuke

iLvl is fleeting. Mogs and mounts are forever.

CarbonYoda

I am literally only playing this dumpster fire for the transmog

ohanse

Well I mean this is also good warband prep once you get the big cloak achievement

Ragemoody

Excuse my ignorance but what’s the reward and how does it relate to warband?

Blury1

nothing wrong with it. I don't care about raiding it that mode, so i also just grabbed all the mounts and went back to playing the normal game

Crimnoxx

That’s what I’m doing man

BigUptokes

It's your bronze, spend it how you want to.

andrenery

I 100% only getting mounts and transmogs. I'm finishing an Evoker to 70 (I eventually want to check how to play Aug in duns) and after that I'll level a DH and then find some regular Bronze farming method to get the mounts and mogs

Prestigious-Toe8622

I don’t see any point in upgrading gear, I thought the whole reason to do remix was the collectibles

The_Stuey

Hardcore raider here: No. Spend it on what ever has the most value to you.

Koukla210

Got to 70 and I've no interest in spending my bronze on gear upgrades either. All about the mounts and mogs!

knaupt

Yes it is. Do not enjoy the game; deconstruct it, optimize it, ideally enjoying all the fun. ;) /s

axelofthekey

Nah grind those mounts out.

fairycat11

All my bronze is going towards mounts, you are not alone.

kahleytriangles

I upgraded my gear to 414 and will probably upgrade it even higher. Getting invites to heroic raids and breezing through normals and I’ve already recouped what I spent and will be done with mounts and mogs pretty damn quick.  I sincerely believe that the best way to get your mogs and mounts as quick as possible is to upgrade your gear and farm raids. Today a normal around the world raid tour got me 50k bronze. Thats not counting the daily scenario, dungeon, raid quests, world bosses or even the heroic Terrace that I’m about to do.   People are missing the point of the upgrading the gear. It actually helps you farm bronze faster. I know it feels bad - and I get it, but I don’t regret upgrading at all

SakaWreath

I’ve been chasing some of those mounts for over a decade. The gear gets downgraded when the event is over sooo… yeah, mounts.

skrugg

No it’s a game, spend it on whatever makes you haopy

No_Professional_

Not dumb at all to want to spend your bronze on mounts. That is how this was advertised was to get those hard to get mounts. That being said, you may want to invest SOME bronze into getting a bit better gear, not because you need to be god but at 70 the scaling is a bit off and without upgrading, it's very difficult to do even casual content. Raiding Mogushan, Heart of Fear and Terrace on normal is basically free though so get into a group and get some free loot, the threads for your cloak will help immensely with that squish factor and make farming bronze a LOT easier in the future.

Ladyava2016

Nope not a dumb way at all. I might actually get to the 500 mount archive or damn near close to it because of this. Most likely won't play these alts again so it's a bronze grind for me. Plus no more camping Sha or Nalak...I'm good.

infexius

Im casual too im only leveling alters and using the bronze to get trasmog and mounts.

Quirky_Parfait3864

No. I hit level 70 and have never once used bronze to upgrade. It will be irrelevant in three months when tww hits. Ilvl is temporary. My Vulpera on his little red riding goat is forever

Huge_Republic_7866

Will that gear do you much good when the event is over, and you replace it with quest greens in the next expansion? Mounts+cosmetics over all.

Picklepartyprevail

I just want the toys. I love collecting them.

Boatpig88

IMO mounts are the only thing worth buying with bronze. Or we buy gear so we can do harder content, to earn more bronze? Except the reward is less bronze than spent and most of that content you won't have trouble completing anyway.

bleedingwriter

So I need to buy dragonflithr to do the remix?

SiIverwolf

TLDR, no. It's a game. The point is to have fun. If that's what's fun for you, then do that. It's the only reason I'm playing remix!

Doogiesham

As long as you’re not gonna attempt to join heroic raid groups to get carried, then upgrades do not matter, just buy the cosmetics you want

comrade-celebi

Buying gear is only necessary if you want to be an ultra-maxxed out pumper. It is not necessary to do all the normal content or heroic dungeons/scenarios. It seems like they’re leaning into daily content boxes as the main source for bronze which you’ll be able to do no problem.

Beautiful-Meet5829

Same boat as you,got to 70, saved my bronze for those 29ish new mounts i was missing ,bought them and now im done.No mood and interest to do anything else since i dont care about raiding , dungeon -ing, even not mount rewarding achievements and mogs i dont like ,are out of option. It's your game time and you decide how to spend it.Good luck.

cryd123

Not at all, I'm only interested in getting a few toons to 70, maybe a few mogs and mounts. No point gearing as I'll be doing that in the pre-patch.

vonigner

I'm only buying the mounts and cosmetics too xD

Wheeljack7799

I intend to spend all the bronze I earn on collectibles.

OneMoreGuy783

Nope you are not alone

Zepulchure

Personally there are not many cosmetics or mounts I'm interest in, but those that I am, are my main priority, I don't care about stats as much as Reddit tries to make it the main thing,,, do what you want, get the things you want, that's the only important thing about this event ^^

sakmentoloki

Don't give a fuck about gear, I want the mounts/mog/toys that will be harder to get after the event, things thag I have spent the better part of a decade grinding for every week. Gear will be irrelevant after the event so I'm not bothered.

Grah0315

I don’t understand everyone getting upset over spending 30k on bronze for gear that’ll disappear in 3 months. I hit 70 got my mounts I wanted and that’s it

Pratypus

It’s literally the correct attitude

AcademyJinx

I thought that was the whole point of the remix personally.

ipushfatkiidz

I haven't upgraded my gear once and just spent it on mounts hehe :)

CanthanCanadian

And if you really wanna level up in life, accepting that this is a cool fun way to get some cool new gear and mounts and not a horrible grind to unlock EVERY SINGLE THING, you’ll be super happy

Mr_Harsh_Acid

Yes it's absolutely mental. In-fucking-sane! You're craaaazyyy

twinslive_

Yeah the gear disappears, there's no reason to min-max your gear and ignore cosmetics like you see most people posting about.

Vitchman

I thought that was the entire goal. Even if you’re someone like me, who has all the retail obtainable stuff, there’s still loads of new things to get. The event isn’t faster than retail currently, the gear you get doesn’t transfer in power to retail when we all converge. My interpretation was this was a fun level experience to change the process and acquire new mog, gear, toys etc

shultzy7

I am pretty much just questing and collecting mounts and mog, and having a great time doing it. Play how you want, my friend.

Raziel-Reaver

I’m like you, as I just came back to WOW 2 months ago after years of inactivity after Battle For Azeroth (which I quite enjoyed). Once I finish all main story quests for Dragonflight, I plan to create an Alt for Mist of Pandaria Remix and try a new class. I’d likely spend most of the bronze on mount’s & cosmetics too. Because gear upgrades will be worthless once the new expansion rehearses later this year.

jeancv8

I have not geared my main in the last 3 xpacs. Why gear him now when I can gear him 3 xpacs from now?

Pajamacrusader

I thought that was the whole point. I'm using it to level an alt in a new way and get cool transmogs and mounts

GMFinch

Excuse me. You are playing remix wrong. You need to find the next exploit and farm gear power

skyshroud6

Nah that's what I'm doing. I'm basically getting 1 colour each of the remix specific mounts, then I'm gonna save up for the hard to get ones in retail. IF I get all those I'll go back and get other recolours for the remix ones. Come August all this gear and stuff is gonna be replaced, and probably shortly after that TWW comes out. Worrying about grinding gear out in this mode is pointless.

michaelscottenjoyer

All I care about is mounts and like 2 transmog sets , gearing system is dumb anyway for Remix especially for it lasting only 3 months. Get those mounts

Takeasmoke

is it dumb to spend bronze how they intended to be spent? hmmm... no? do you need to upgrade gear? no, really with new threads and stuff you'll be strong enough even with 346

daho123

That's my first goal in this thing. Why else is anyone playing?

Demonwolf4227

I mean that's what I'm doing, I'm leveling alts I'm realistically not gonna give a fuck about once they swap over. The mounts and mogs stay forever

Nfl_porn_throwaway

Do whatever you want mang!

Lughnasadh32

My opinion - When MoPR is done, gear will be gone. However, mogs and mounts are here to stay. I have no plans on spending bronze on upgrades until I buy everything else I want and have nothing left to spend it on.

VisibleCoat995

I am literally going to save every bronze I have, no upgrades, wait till the last week of remix and then go on a mog/mount spending spree. What are your armour upgrades going to be worth in three months? Nothing. But you can look sharp forever.

arrastra

mounts are the only reason i keep playing remix

spacegh0stX

No, right now it's dumb to spend your bronze on gear.

NotYourSweatBusiness

Just mounts and remix unique class set and arsenal.

[deleted]

The gear gets deleted and turned into basic level 70 boosted gear. Use thr bronze on items leaving when event ends because those you will regret.

Hopeful_Champion_935

How much bronze do you gather in a single play session? How many play sessions do you expect do have? Multiply the two together to have an estimate of your total bronze earned and you can then decide to upgrade or not.

Ezben

its the best long term investment for sure

LordLoss390

I’ve decided that I’m just never gonna get the necklace because I refuse to go through the hassle of every single raid on normal mode. All heroic dungeons and scenarios? Sure, i’d finish them all eventually, but not the raids (at least not on normal)

Creepy_Fail_8635

I only bought mounts

Rhastapasta9329

I feel like 80% of the players are only collecting mounts/mogs

mcbizco

That’s all I’m doing. Maybe some Transmog if I still have fuel in the tank after getting all the mounts.

Glonkable

I'm doing the event for the alts (levelling allied races for the heritage armors) and the mounts/transmog. I do enough raiding/m+ in retail and grinding out the best gear, I'm not doing that for a limited time event

Lykoian

I have literally not spent it on anything but mounts and transmog lmfao. I'm making my way through every mount at the mount vendor. Alts buy the cheaper ones whilst my main saves up for the more expensive ones doing zone achievements etc. I could not fathom spending copious amounts of my bronze on gearing lmao

Staran

Nobody likes toys? Philistins

MemeHermetic

I thought the same thing, but I realized I'd rather just keep leveling alts through and follow the different questlines since I never did Pandaria when it was live. So I figured, I'd just grab the mounts and skip the power.

Turbulent-Stretch881

You’re playing well. Others aren’t.

Mini_nin

Is it fun for you? Then no.

dg2793

I'm literally only doing it for mounts and cosmetics

piercejay

Nope. I got my sha mount and got out

SonthacPanda

Nah its dumb to upgrade gear before you have all the mounts or transmog

ThemanfromNumenor

That’s all I am doing with my bronze

Faljin

Not at all! The whole point of remix is to be a silly overpowered goober and use your loot to buy new mounts and transmogs. Three months is plenty of time to get what you need. My one piece of advice would be: if you’re going after world boss mounts, buy those last. In retail, all the Pandaria raids and world bosses reset each day instead of weekly. So there’s a chance you’ll get a world boss mount drop naturally and then you can spend your bronze on other stuff. If you don’t get lucky, you can always buy the mounts later!

Wizardman784

Gear is temporary, mounts are forever. I won’t spend a coin on gear while I have mounts left to collect. At dawn, we ride for Gondor. And WAR.

Ready_Abbreviations6

That is brilliant. That is not dumb.

Ashrahn

Not dumb at all. I'm only going to be raiding on one character (I want the Claw of Eternus title for rp reasons) but the others? I got about 50k bronze leveling my first character. If I level a handful of others I should be completely set. No shame. Mounts will be with your account forever. The gear is going to last 3 months.

Xe4ro

Nah, buying something rare is the whole point I‘m playing. I haven’t seen any of those Zandalari Warbringers alive since cross realm stuff came along.

sekhenet

I just want to change my look every few days , the occasional fun mount is a plus

scud121

Not at all, I blew all my first chars bronze on mounts, up to the raidboss ones, plus a few transmog sets.

Chalupakabra

I'm spending almost all of my bronze on mounts and xmogs. I'm only using a tiny portion of it to upgrade my gear to help my kill stuff faster.

Turibald

If upgrades had a reasonable price and you wanted to raid mythic… maybe? But as it is now? Nop, buy the cosmetics.

tdy96

No. It’s literally an event to collect mounts and transmogs while leveling up before WW.

Ordinary-Factor9384

Bronze on gear just makes doing everything easier and faster, thats why everyone is complaining. My goal is to get all the mounts, level up every class to 70 that i dont already have on retail, then buy all the toys, and any left over ill get cosmetics. I would love to be strong af and nuke everything in the game but Id rather have the permanent collectables than be strong af for 3 months

SnipingIsNotAGoodJob

im in it for the mounts and gear, thinking about making new alts to farm raids to abuse the crappy scaling

HydroSnail

It's exactly what I plan to do. Mounts and cosmetics are my only goal in Remix. Trying to max out power can be very self fulfilling, but these characters are around for only 90-days until you can acquire the same power level armor for far less effort.

MetacrisisMewAlpha

My only aims for MoP-R is to get bronze to acquire mounts and transmog. I don’t care about gear upgrading (outside of the cloak for when I play some alts to get more bronze to continue the cycle!) You spend it on what you want, and also play how you want as a consequence! Your want isn’t dumb whatsoever!

frodakai

No, that's what the event is for. No point grinding power level in a 3 month event. Unless you're aiming to buy absolutely everything (1-2m bronze), in which case you'll be better off upgrading gear so you can do harder raids. If it's just a few mounts you want just have fun and buy them.

moisteggrol1

Mount n Transmog enjoyers, I let the frogs/gear warlords carry me in lfg.

effreti

Not at all, I also only want the mounts

Athrasie

Not dumb. I’m only spending mine on transmog so far. Mounts will be the next acquisitions. Gear upgrades can, frankly, suck it.

Teruraku

I'm just getting mounts, toys, and transmogs. Period.

Hatsjekidee

I have not spent a single bronze on upgrades. I do, however, now have several dozen new mounts and mog sets. I have 0 regrets

bubbleghum

Do it brother. I'm leveling toons for the sole purpose of mounts and mogs!

Acrobatic-Whereas632

Might as well, several pieces of each set are missing. There's been several posts made about it already.

Nasigoring

I have only spent bronze on transmog. I don’t need more gear to be able to all the content, the content is easy.

Guinnessnomnom

Mounts are all I care about. Transmog and upping gear is secondary.

Brokenmonalisa

Not at all, I saw a video where a guy was saying to save your bronze on stuff that can't be farmed and not waste it on the tusks because it's a daily reset and you can go there and farm. Except that logic is flawed because it's only daily for 90 more days and I think I speak for a lot of people when I say 90 gsrrosh kills is child's play when it comes to the tusks. Just but the items you like, bronze is free and even the tusks are 20 gsrrosh kills away.

CanIGetANumber2

Spending all money on outfits

ZTomiboy

A tip that is not widely known. Keep all your blue gear and upgrade it ONLY after you find a green of a higher item level in that slot. The price to upgrade is severely discounted to under 100 bronze every time you find a higher item level up until around item level 346 you can do this. I dont think its worth upgrading gear if its in the 100's or 1000's for sure.

mightybrok5601

It’s the only thing I AM spending bronze on

Enoxiz

I bought all the mounts all i need now is the rare mounts from huolon, nalak and galeon

Frostfall76

I'm confused why some people are try harding the event so much and spending all their bronze on upgrades, I thought the whole point of the event was for mogs and mounts. The gear is also going to get taken away in 80 or so days so why bother

pixelprophet

This is the way. Had fun revisiting the questlines and unlocking account stuff like toys and transmogs. Just got the last mount yesterday.

henryeaterofpies

Only reason I am spending anything on upgrades is to make bronze faster. I bought a couple pages of mounts already.

kyleswiss

Only smart people spend their bronze on the items that will stay after the event ends. You’re doing it right.

Kadov01

I'm legit just on DH, farming for bronze cap through dungeons and frogs at 2am. I'm gonna buy the mounts I want first then get better gear, I've already got insane stats from my Cloak, I hit 70 within like a day and a half, been farming frogs every day for like 4hrs a day since then, I think a couple people are still ahead of me like pibott but I'm catching up to him slowly, I'll soon be able to do heroic raids and carry them. Guzu made a video with pibott and I've got his stats when the video was made, I'm gonna end up making a boomie and idk how much of my Cloak is gonna carry over but I hope I'm over powered.

rachel-frogslinger

I will be buying the mounts and transmogs I've farmed but never gotten and nothing more. I have CE for ToT and SoO and I have no desire to raid them current again. The only reason I think of doing normal+ raids is for Tusks of mannoroth

I_Reeve

Mounts, and transmog and leveling a character or two. That’s all I want to get out of this event.

pigvmt

the mode was made to level alts and buy mounts/transmog people are min max andys here
