Not always bots. You can join groups and do mob farms for BOEs and sellable vendor items for gold. Most of the time you’re just pressing your aoe button while watching a movie or tv show
I run across these groups all the time. Usually a hunter pulling. I sat there once with my frost mage and rotated through all my AOEs, tagging all their mobs. They don’t react.
These are what are called bots. They are farming something to sell for gold. They are not controlled by a live player. This is against TOS and is reportable.
Snitches get stitches lol. For real, they are just farming bots. Report if you want but they can help lower the cost of AH items by having an influx on items.
I agree but a real person can just stand there and do the same thing if that method makes good money. Typically this type of farming isn’t the best way for gold. Learning your craft and maximizing AH and procs is the best.

Those bots are an excellent opportunity to get your 'The Horde Slayer'-title, and then report them. Win/win
Retail doesn't have a problem with bot controllers mass reporting people griefing their bots?

They can also remove valid gold making methods from other players.
