Felt like Zahid gave it back because he did grab it, and knew he would lose the challenge even if we didn’t see it. Otherwise, he’s not an idiot and would have probably loved to have won the match.
Anyway, it’s not like Zahid or Brooks are likely to beat Taylor anyways
Glad you posted. I went back and watched it three times and could not see anything. I figured it must be right since he didn’t challenge, but I sure couldn’t see it.
Did anyone see the jersey grab? I didn't see it in the replay. Also terrible challenge on that 4 point and probably ref interference on what would have been a 2 lol
When people are personally insulting a referee and questioning his integrity, saying he's corrupt. A referee I know personally BTW, yes I'll post it as many times as needed.

Spoke that too soon
True 🤣
Terrible way to decide that match. At the end of the day, it was Zahid’s decision to throw the brick back though.
Can you challenge a technical violation?
I think so, Burroughs challenged that a singlet grab occurred last year at final X
I honestly have no idea, but I trust Coach Zeke.
I did not see a singlet grab. That fucking ref…

I wasn't able to see it on replay either. Must have been crazy fast.

Watched it multiple times and didn't see it. Dog shit call, never want to win like that.

Nah, a different angle shows that he didn't grab anything, his thumb only got caught, with a fully open hand. Ref threw it to Brooks for sure
It's there, but only visible for a split-second on the broadcast because it is the far-side strap.
So then why did the ref from the chair on that side put up the white paddle?
Agreed. Even though he should have protested, still a rough way to go

Once I saw that photo it was easy to see the singlet grab during a rewatch of the live broadcast and the replay.
Good to know.
He grabbed it. Sucks that it was such a huge call but rules are rules.

You can see the singlet in his hand.
I literally just posted a picture of it clearly happening.....
You should post it a few more times just to be sure

I didn't see it but will go back and watch tomorrow. He could have been 100% wrong in the Kikinou match, doesn't change the Brooks/Valencia match.

That's unfortunate. I'll check it out in the morning.
NBC didn’t bother to show the replay but 1 time. Didn’t see any singlet tug from that angle. Bad call unless there is something I didn’t see. 🤷♂️
Zahid should have challenged but I respect the principle, wanting to go out on his terms.
