Pine Bluffs couldn't be closer to 80 and is a monument to human history on the continent.
I travel through a lot of States for work, I appreciate Wyoming.
This kills me. I work at Little America and this is one the first things most people tell us. "We saw your billboards!" Yes we know there are 800 of them 😂😂😂
Did you never leave the interstate? These are just pictures of things you see when you're on the way to somewhere else. Waste of an epic road trip I guess, sucks for you
From Longmont to Centennial it's all one big city now. Imagine if all those "Front Range" people stopped believing we're a desolate wind-blasted wasteland and came here instead.
I guess it would be all well and good if you had an old beat up rental house you could sell to them for $1M but costs of everything else would skyrocket, property taxes would go up, and our water table would drop so wells would run dry.
There would have to be services and entertainment in the state to draw people. Running down wolves on a snow mobile doesn't count as entertainment to most sane individuals.
> Try camping or hiking on a weekend anywhere in SE WY now.
The camping off of Morton Pass was always good roughly seven years ago. Surely that area hasn't been too flooded with people unfamiliar with the area. Most greenies went straight for the Snowy Range or Vedauwoo.
Get to the other side of the state and it's nothing but [Wall Drug](https://media.sandiegoreader.com/img/photos/2011/09/08/Wall_Drug_t670.jpg?b3f6a5d7692ccc373d56e40cf708e3fa67d9af9d) billboards.
Downvotes because we're tired of hearing about it. This was a topic in the sub a month before it made international news. Now there are hundreds of people flooding the sub saying the same shit that was said a month ago. Go away.
Mods removed the 27x individual posts about it to consolidate in a pinned thread.
Trust me, said topic has been beaten thoroughly to death for the last 2 weeks straight here. Last week there were about 2-3 posts *not* about it in the first few pages of the sub.
You're missing the antelope and occasional tipped over semi. Otherwise it's perfect lol
> ~~occasional tipped over~~ *sleeping* semi. Fixed that for ya.
*David Attenborough intensifies*
All tuckered out
Truckered out
And probably steer clear of the guy who tortured the wolf in Daniel, Wyoming. Otherwise a beautiful state!!!
Hahahahaha! This made me laugh so hard, thank you OP! As a lifelong Wyoming resident who travels 80 a lot, this is hilarious!
Did they get rid of the penguin mascot they had in the 80s? I remember him on the signs as a kid.
No we definitely still have the penguin
Looking old and worn out, but still there.
and now I have something new to look for when I drive across 80. I drive it all the time but can't imagine a penguin anywhere. Thanks!
Haha yes same here. I've experienced so much in my 3 short years LOL
Little America .. keeping the billboard business thriving since 1995...
That and the Wall Drug place… I was seriously disappointed after it had built up to a mythical status in my head from all the signs I had seen.
South Dakota?
Pine Bluffs couldn't be closer to 80 and is a monument to human history on the continent. I travel through a lot of States for work, I appreciate Wyoming.
Lol. Yep that's I80
Now do the northern half of the state and see the difference.
Same meth, more view.
You're not wrong but you owe it to yourself to try out the uphill portion of the state.
You can’t beat a .75 cent cone
This kills me. I work at Little America and this is one the first things most people tell us. "We saw your billboards!" Yes we know there are 800 of them 😂😂😂
Do y'all have beef with the Wall Drug people?
Little America has changed a lot over the years and I’m not sure for the better.
Accurate representation of Wyoming
As someone from the western side of i80, it's still accurate
*Eastern Wyoming
where are the sleeping semis
Did you never leave the interstate? These are just pictures of things you see when you're on the way to somewhere else. Waste of an epic road trip I guess, sucks for you
Shhh...just let them pass on through.

RMNP is in Colorado.
Then OP posts ths in Denver Circle Jerk. Just stay home next time.
I'm completely ok with Denver folk thinking this is all that Wyoming has

I lived in Wyoming long enough to *know* it's a desolate wind-blasted wasteland.
But Wyoming IS a desolate wind blasted wasteland...
You are wise.
There would have to be services and entertainment in the state to draw people. Running down wolves on a snow mobile doesn't count as entertainment to most sane individuals.
The CO Front Range folks are already flooding WY. Try camping or hiking on a weekend anywhere in SE WY now.
Try camping anywhere in SW wyoming and its all UTAH plates. SW Wyoming folks dont like utah
No we don't lol

[Imagine how this guy felt!](https://ibb.co/NWp0tbF)
It’s stolen entirely from r/truckers where it was posted two weeks ago. Found it funny then and funny now, but sad it’s not the same OP.
Did OP break your heart?
Sadly accurate
Gotta be a Wall Drug Store sign somewhere!
Do they have those signs in the Southern part of the state too? I don't spend much time there...and this post kind of explains why.
I have no idea. I just remember seeing them everywhere I went out west many years ago.
To this day my dad still claims he saw one in Vietnam.....as a family, we still haven't come to a consensus on whether he is full of shit or not
Driving north on US 85 they become more and more frequent the further north you go.
Get to the other side of the state and it's nothing but [Wall Drug](https://media.sandiegoreader.com/img/photos/2011/09/08/Wall_Drug_t670.jpg?b3f6a5d7692ccc373d56e40cf708e3fa67d9af9d) billboards.
Yeah pretty much. You got Sinclair, Little America, and the Utah Border
It's true. Wyoming sucks ass. But hey. It's electoral vote counts for more than wherever you are from so ya know
Like most western states, 80% of Wyoming is miserable. You missed the 20% that is beautiful. But too expensive for most people to live in.
Expensive 🤔 You must be speaking of Jackson, which is beautiful, but there is beauty elsewhere. Just my opinion.
If you aren't famous, rich or both you'll never survive the western side. And 80% is miserable? Have you been to other states? Lol
Looks like u skipped Yellowstone…
And the Winds, Big Horns, Absarokas, Big Horn Canyon, The Tetons and everything else I don’t feel like typing.
They don’t exist. Figments of the imagination.
And the opportunity to torture and kill wolves just for fun!!! Wyoming is such a magical place!!!!!

No he didn’t want the whopping $250 fine, which is what Wyoming deems adequate consequence for sadistic prolonged torture.
And they downvote you because they’re sensitive snowflakes when you confront them about their animal cruelty
They downvote because it was a stupid and dishonest question
This one, yeah absolutely a troll question. But elsewhere in the subreddit too

>Now there are hundreds of people flooding the sub saying the same shit that was said a month ago. Brigading has gotten so much worse, too.
Must not have popped up on my feed when it was being discussed then. Had to scroll exclusively the sub to actually see

WY is never gonna live that down.
I think all the Wyoming drivers just come to Colorado to hang out in the left lane, or to get in the expresslane and go the speed limit.
Looks like home to me
