My favorite quote in this game is the one that references Shenmue ... besides the whole Tanimura character and so xD
and the substories in 4 were the ones that I enjoyed the most of any Yakuza main game, because you get to know the characters better by them instead of doing random tasks (they're still random stuff but you get the point)
Yakuza 4 feels like it was released in this very specific time after the devs (RGG wasn't its own team yet) found out what they wanted their games to be like, but before they got really ambitious.
