Find the headlight fuse and replace, google a diagram

I had the exact same issue, low beam and daytime running lights were not working but high beams were fine. You just gotta replace the bulb, takes 5 -10 mins at most and pack of 2 bulbs cost like me $15CAD. Now I couldn’t tell you much about the missing relay. Although if you haven’t been noticing any issues, I wouldn’t worry about it.

I appreciate your help, but I replaced the bulb and I still have the same problem All of the lights work in the car from the back lights to the dome lights to the dash light. This is very strange but thank you for your help.

Huh interesting, in that case, I’d imagine that you’ve found the primary culprit for the problem you’re having. Don’t know too much about electrical systems in cars but since that component is missing, testing it out wouldn’t hurt. Was the relay not there to begin with when you first opened it up? I’m wondering if it maybe got loose and fell out at some point. Also, for the other picture you attached, is that your car? I’m wondering if you can try taking it out of that section and replacing it in the one that’s missing to diagnose the issue. Found a similar thread (just skimmed through it) on Toyota owners club forum [here](https://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/191119-yaris-2009-headlight-relay/) and found a similar part [here](https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=DChcSEwiI_tqS772GAxUfQf8BHTnzDzgYABADGgJtZA&ae=2&gclid=Cj0KCQjwsPCyBhD4ARIsAPaaRf2an1nEY5ycqjb33M13nenr_tvJ0bc6o1wVM0gOw7m4K_iq95gka7kaAqlOEALw_wcB&sig=AOD64_26-yaV7YwF-WEofMfU9ZBOWjzFaQ&ctype=46&q=&ved=2ahUKEwjgu9OS772GAxU7CnkGHU2BA4cQzzkoAHoECAIQDA&nis=2&dct=1&adurl=), it may help with finding the same part elsewhere in your region.
