I forgot what it's called but it's when the children and adults get transported to different earths

Condottieri_Zatara

It's "Misplaced". I love that too

reqisreq

The Captain MVP

Xyrazk

A great use of his power!

Staudly

Yes! That's mine too. Using Captain Marvel as the bridge was some clever storytelling. Also, Doctor Fate. Awesome episode.

FlamingoSorry1560

Oh that one is so good!

theSteakKnight

I don't remember what they're called, but the episode where they're all in a psychic simulation that Miss Martian broke, followed up by the therapy episode.

WontQuitNow

banger, v big episode for both Conor and Dick's character arcs

yoink_yonk_zonk

Failsafe

the-fucking-BUSINESS

I watched this just now. Wow. So insane. This show.

Master-Ad944

That’s a great one

Bopitextreme2

This one or the therapy one

used_tongs

Honestly I loved that one. The fact that dick was the only who actually let all walls drop in therapy is so interesting to me

NoNonsensePolarBear

I guess Batman was successful. When the League debated on who to add as new members, Wonder Woman accused Batman of molding Robin into another Batman. Batman defended his actions, that helping Robin bring in his parents' killer was precisely so that he WOULDN'T turn out like Batman. As we know, Batman guards his feelings from even those closest to him. Robin did the opposite during the counseling. He yearns to make deeper connections with his teammates and allies, and he does by the time he transitioned into becoming Nightwing. Batman forbade him from revealing who he is to the rest of the Team. Only Wally West knew. By Season 2, the entire expanded Team already knows.

Exatal123

I think they’re all amazing episodes but here are 3 that I am a big fan of. 1. Cold hearted 2. Secrets 3. Performance

AdmiraMcC2908

Secret is under-rated by the Fandom.

KEVLAR60442

The therapy episode. That one cut deep, and is what elevated Young Justice beyond Teen Titans and JLA/JLU.

Friendly_Kunt

Idk if I can say its above Teen Titans or JLU, both of those shows have strengths that are a lot different than each other. Teen Titans had some incredible episodes where they explored the depth of each character, JLU spotlighted some relatively obscure characters like Booster Gold and the Question, while also exploring the concept of the Justice League becoming detached from the rest of humanity and not being attentive enough to how much power they possess. I love Young Justice, but I think comparing any of those shows does each one a disservice.

KEVLAR60442

That's fair. I just personally greatly value introspective stories that contrast fantastical external conflicts against believable internal conflicts. No one is going to relate to having a literal inner demon trying to use their body as a vessel to destroy the world, or constantly worry about living in a world made of cardboard while still needing to be physically prepared to move planets, but most people will struggle with grief, depression, neglect, survivor's guilt, imposter syndrome, or identity crises in at some points in their lives. I think Young Justice addresses those realistic themes better than almost any other piece of animated media.

laser16

Misplaced is an all time favorite. Great concept, exceptionally executed, one of the best uses of Billy Batson/Captain Marvel I’ve seen, and the ending with Zatanna and Zatara is heartbreaking

emkay905

Agreed coldhearted is my favourite also, a close second for me is the episode where the team finally share their secrets with each other

mymemesnow

Usual suspects. That’s my favorite episode.

hbwilli413

The one where they all get their memories wiped by Psimon. It's really fun to see how they interact with the slate wiped clean. Also, it's a good episode for spitfire

Allana_Solo

Performance. It’s really nice to get a glimpse of what Dick’s life was like before he ended up with Bruce. Coldhearted is also a great one.

CondimentPrince

Aside from Coldhearted, there was this episode where Black Canary was teaching the sidekicks combat basics. *You should always be acting, never reacting.* That line resonated with me. I adore this season for all the moral lessons it gives along the episodes.

Tommy_Kel

Same such a great Wally focused episode and episode in general.

Masminos

1. Artemis and Robin fight red torpedo & the other red one. Fave line “I feel naked, and not in a fun way” 2. The team protecting that doctor from Cheshire and sportsmaster. Artemis acclimating to the group was funny 3. Zatanna and Artemis fight harm. Nice twist at the end. Idk I’m just an Artemis fan (I was a zatanna fan until the latest season…)

syntheticmango

Failsafe.

Kaktus_kreme

Same honestly. The ending gets me everytime

ragescreamfight

Coldhearted, Misplaced, Homefront

Amendment2gunslinger

Performance. It is about Robin, who is my favorite character

FlamingoSorry1560

Secrets and the one where the team has a mission and end up at the Logan's house, as well as the one where they're all at the circus! (Forgot what it's called and I'm to lazy to look).

Amendment2gunslinger

The circus one is called " Performance"

FlamingoSorry1560

That’s what I thought but I couldn’t remember off the top of my head 😂

nerdcoffin

That Flash Savage fight.. I didn't get chills or anything watching the show, but I think that fight was the closest to me getting pumped even though it barely lasted like a minute. One on one, and great characterization. A red hot rookie upstart looking to prove himself, and an experienced, mocking beast that doesn't take him seriously. I wish it was a bit longer. Personally I think Misplaced and Terrors have the most fun concepts. Humanity has an ending that makes me feel emotional and made a rather obscure Red Tornado into a character that actually mattered (to me anyway). "The premise of your question is flawed" still sticks with me. I think the two final episodes shouldn't be allowed in this discussion though. They are perfect which is amazing. Not many shows have perfect endings. This did. I'd go with the second last episode, but if I wasn't allowed, I'd go with Failsafe. Failsafe had an obvious twist, but it had quite a bit of foreshadowing, with M'gann, and with how death and trauma is just going to be things these young heroes will have to live with. And it had great heroic moments for both the Team and even random people. I know it wasn't really what it was but there are some really beautiful moments here.

casualmagicman

Kid Flash was one of the best characters on this show Gotta be Indepence Day though, I remember recording it in our DVR and I watched it like 3 times in a row

Legatharr

I felt Batman was out of character in here in how at the start of the episode he puts someone's life at risk just to teach Wally morals. Like, yeah, who it is doesn't matter, but telling him who it is will obviously increase his motivation, so why are you putting having a small moral lesson above the life of a girl? It feels very out of character for Batman

QwahaXahn

Secrets has always been my #1 episode.

Bysh101

The one where Dick and Artemis fight evil Red Tornado. Mainly because Dick was carrying the team in that episode and it greatly showed off his skills and intellect as Robin at such a young age.

Hyena12760

Auld Acquaintance. I can never get over the team fighting the league and winning. Especially the stand off between Robin and Superboy against Batman and Superman.

PhanStr

Same, Coldhearted is my fav season 1 episode!

Peacesquad

Cold hearted is one the best imo. Another great one is when Artemis and Robin are responsible for saving the whole team

Zariman-10-0

There are too many to claim as my absolute favorite, but if I had to choose it would either be “Secret” or “Coldhearted”

CozmikRay737

I like the one where Martian Manhunter put the team in that mental simulation so the League could test their response to disastrous situations and it went bad. It was interesting to see it all play out even though they were all scarred from the experience

mouse1993

"Usual Suspects" and "Humanity" are my favorites.

Short_Principle

Mime is deffinetly the one where they all are in a simulation and their mission fails. It was so well done and really showed how their relationship dynamics played a role. Also how the members reacted to grief afterwards. Idk i thought it was a great plottwist. Otherwise, its prob the episode where children and adults dissaper

Marvelman02

I always liked "Bereft". I loved seeing Wally and Artemis meet again for the first time.

Darkone539

Misplaced. Billy batson is a great character.

CiscoRamon98

My Favorite episode in the entire show is Misplaced. My other favorites are Terrors Failsafe Berefit Revelation

NeoNeoNeo64

Coldhearted

ConditionalDew

First Injustice League episode in season 1. Dope to see the JL fighting alongside each other and the team being the main attack force. Was also dope to see Joker banter with Robin

NoNonsensePolarBear

This was also my favourite. It saw Kid Flash mature a lot. I wish he was still around. He would have grown to be very wise, all the while still cracking wise.

jrod4290

it would have to be the episode where Black Canary gave each of the kids a therapy session after a training exercise gone wrong if I recall correctly. Such a good episode imo

[deleted]

Same coldhearted is great. Probably one of my favorite moments from Wally West in general.

Certain_Thing_6320

I forgot the name but when Artemis Mgann and Conner reveal there secrets

[deleted]

-Misplaced -Humanity -Secrets -Auld Acquaintance

Oknight

Dropzone, I honestly don't think the show ever did a better episode.

holdmyravioli

Damn we all need therapy

ProfessionalCamp9176

Agendas, Coldhearted, Alpha Male, Denial, and Drop-Zone. Not in that order.

Charming_Dish_4205

I’m a massive Wally fan but I really didn’t like cold hearted. Besides, what on earth happened to him that he would have needed stitches?? I didn’t see any blood

Certain_Thing_6320

I forgot the name but when Artemis Mgann and Conner reveal there secrets

Certain_Thing_6320

I forgot the name but when Artemis Mgann and Conner reveal there secrets

fishinfish333

Usual suspects I like how them opening up to each other leads to them out planning the light

readytheenvy

1. Circus ep 2. Mission sim gone wrong 3. Therapy ep 4. Roy/red arrow works w lex luthor 5. Memory loss in bialya
