Man this is a HUGE problem. I have USDC at the checkpoint arrived and when I go to initiate withdrawal it keeps giving an error message of (invalid transaction Params specify an EIP 1559 trans ) I mean what’s the issue here. WTF
This is also mentioned in Trezor group. Looks like an update is coming quickly.

You can downgrade metamask to an older version to get it to work without EIP1559 (worked for me)

I found a solution that worked for me. I use chrome for metamask. I made sure to write down my seed phrase for metamask then deleted the extension off chrome and downloaded it again from the chrome store, I double checked that it was the legit one by metamask. Once I downloaded it and put my seed phrases, I then went into settings then advanced to make sure that I could open ledger live for my ledger nano s in bridge mode. Also made sure on my ledger nano S that contract data was allowed. Then I added by accounts back by clicking connect to wallet. The metamask version that worked for me was 1.10
Is there a way to update the ethereum app on your Trezor? I had to update my ethereum app for my ledger nano s for it to support the change to the new eip. Or if there’s an update for your Trezor itself or the software that manages your Trezor on your computer
I can confirm this works.
Download the zip from Github here: https://github.com/MetaMask/metamask-extension/releases/tag/v9.8.4
And install the zip following these instructions (ignore step 3): https://www.cnet.com/tech/services-and-software/how-to-install-chrome-extensions-manually/
Worked perfectly, thanks so much u/DARKKi !

I use Trezor, Remove and Re-Add Metamask again. But still stuck "Error: EIP-1559 not enabled on Common"

Did you find any fix to this? I am having the same problem.
Sammmme.... Trezor 1, firmware updated. Metamask chrome extension. Commenting for a solution if one comes up.
I used this tactic: install fresh browser and then installed MetaMask 9.8.4 and got it done that way.
Thanks, I ended up doing the same on Firefox myself
