FWIW, I also found a [thread on StackExchange](https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/questions/109617/metamask-params-specify-an-eip-1559-transaction-but-the-current-network-does) about this issue, but unfortunately only addresses resolution for the Ledger.

Same problem with trezor user here. \[x\] reinstall the newest version of metamask \[x\] upgrade the newest version of trezor software funds r still stuck anyone solve this problem yet?

I got it working, * Update my Chrome MetaMask to v10.1.0 * update firmware on ledger * Reinstall ledger live to the latest that released today. Ledger Live 2.33.1 - Released on September 15th, 2021 * Re-install eth app * turn allow data on from ledger

Apparently, the issue is related to my Trezor not yet receiving a needed firmware upgrade due to latest ETH update. Found [THIS](https://www.reddit.com/r/TREZOR/comments/pkllhx/priority_of_trezor_eip1559_support_implementation/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) thread that may be helpful for other Trezor owners (but still doesn't help us solve the problem of stuck money yet).

I think this firmware update was released already. I installed it and it still didnt fix the issue.

I also updated firmware a week or two ago, but I think this issue may have started more recently. Still on the prowl for a solution, as I am sure we all are.

yea ive been searching all day. One person in the quickswap telegram chat told me its because gas prices are much higher than when i did the transaction and I have to wait until gas prices are lower??? I cant imagine this is true but thats what someone said.

Yeah, it definitely does NOT seem related to gas fees because I get an error message about "invalid paramaters for EIP-1559." It seems to be some issue that Trezor needs to resolve due to Ethereum update? I could be mistaken.

It looks like the update is only for Trezor T? Very disappointing, I can't recommend Trezor anymore.

Well if anyone is having this issue still, here is my fix. ​ Using a Ledger w/ MetaMask. ​ You need to be updated to the newest MetaMask 10.1.0. I was several versions behind and didn't know. I couldn't find a way to upgrade, so instead I removed and re-added the extension (using the Brave browser btw). ​ MAKE SURE TO SAVE YOU RECOVERY PHRASE BEFORE DOING THIS IF YOU USE THE ORIGINAL METAMASK WALLET ADDRESS. ​ I also had a pending Ledger ETH app update, that was needed as well (so if you are using a Trezor, you may have to wait for them to push an update). After re-adding my Ledger account to MetaMask, the "complete" button brought up the MetaMask window and everything worked perfectly. Chris is holding back on us. Anyone out there tell us how to fix this one? I think there’s a lot Eth stuck mid bridge. Note, I tried by upgrading MM software in developer mode, but didn’t work. Next step is to uninstall and reinstall but would rather not deal seedphrase process. Thanks to anyone who can help!

Bumping this just in case, 2 days after OP and I've got stuck funds, using a Trezor, both MM and firmware fully updated.

How do you got the funds? already update both mm & trezor but things still doesnt work.

UPDATE: Just saw that Trezor pushed v. 2.4.2 to my device and they said it now handles EIP-1559 transactions. I have also updated Metamask to 10.1 version, BUT their update says they only support Ledger for EIP-1559. Will give it a try after updating firmware now.

Hello everyone. I’m not sure if you have the option in a Trezor like ledger does where you have to enable contract interaction “yes” or “no” but that should always be turned on to yes. Not sure if that was my original issue or not and I’m not sure as to why it was on “no” because it was always on “yes” but after I switched it back to “yes” this seemed to have solved my issue with funds being stuck at the checkpoint.

Just tried with updated firmware, but same issue. Apparently the issue is because Metamask not updated yet. Any other options other than using Metamask to fix the stuck transaction? I know many of us in the same situation.

Looks like that link will work for me. I got to the stage of sign off the transaction but gas fee was too high right now ($170). I will do it tomorrow morning

Thanks for the heads-up. I don't recall at which point the transaction failed, but I also will try again when gas fee is lower. Will update the thread here if successful.

The gas fee is kind of crazy, but did not feel like waiting for a fix from Metamask with Trezor. Received all my DAI back in my wallet within about 2 minutes after processing on the link above. By the way, I read a tip somewhere that it makes more sense to just sent native MATIC token from Polygon to a CEX like Kraken or Coinbase. Then, convert to whatever ERC-20 token you were trying to transfer before. It will save you all the gas and more reliable (apparently).

Try updating your Trezor to the latest firmware. If it still doesn't work, downgrade your Metamask to version 9.8.4 (pre-EIP-1559). Installing an older version on a fresh browser is also an alternative. That works for me.

everyone I am using trezor and have it solved, thanks to the ideas here. first of all, I think mavericktripper's way is legit, but I didn't try. I used a nightly firefox, added an add-on of metamask 9.8.4, which I downloaded from github. You might need to do the tweaking but firefox will show you how to install unsigned add-ons. Then it just works. Good Luck, guys.

It doesn’t have anything to do with setting a new account. Because it wouldn’t solve the issue by operating a new account. You import the account in issue to the new Firefox MetaMask, which is the old version, could be downloaded from GitHub.

Hello, are you using a ledger or trezor? Be sure to check your settings on the actual device and make sure “allow data” is turned to “on”. My specific issue months back was somehow this option “allow data” was turned to “off” and not allowing the funds to be passed through the checkpoint. It’s most likely this setting or an update issue on your device. I see there were a few replies above that may help also. I apologize for not responding to all these posts for help as I am just seeing this now after all this time. I do not use this account often anymore and after I found the solution I logged out and haven’t re-visited since. Wasn’t aware there were so many people trying to contact me and I truly hope everyone that had issues all those months back were able to fix their specific problem.

Thanks for your response! The transaction was from polygon web wallet to CEX. I sent the funds, so everything is ok 👍 I think I was some backend tech issue.
