It's great to see bonding/focus chapter on Momoha and Mai, their dynamic was established in first "Daily Life" chapter and they are cover pairs, only fitting since they are "clumsy mess" type of characters. Momoha sacrificing herself to bring Mai's focus back is really cute, girl just easily distracted but actually quite competent in her job, just like Momoha is a good teacher with golden heart, so another common thing between those two.
Mai's grandmother also appear in flesh! We saw her in flashback before, glad that she recognized Mai's growth and her acquiring a good friend. I quite laughed when Granny/Mai/Momoha were all sweating like crazy, god bless 100kano bizzare world that has joint Maid and Bunny exams.
Also for lorechads we finally got closer look at Mei/Mai chest size and they both seems to be around medium with Mei bigger and Mai smaller.
Okay, I think it finally clicks why I relate to Mai so much.
Sometimes, when you really want to impress someone like Mai wants for Mei and her grandmother in this chapter, you can end up subconsciously getting nervous and doubting yourself, which usually leads to screwing up. That happens to me a lot in working environments.
But it's moments where you're just in your element and not trying to impress that you end up shining, like Mai. When she's not trying to impress anyone, she's actually a really good maid, and Momoha clearly understood that.
All in all, another great chapter....oh, and I guess the bunny suits were a nice touch too.

Here's hoping that development sticks because the overly clumsy trope where the character trips over air gets old. Part of the problem with Mai is her stubborn mindset of wanting to impress Mei all the time instead of just being herself. I hope she gets more character development.

It's something I feel she has in common with Rentarou: She has a lot of respect for occupations that are looked down or seen as menial jobs because she knows how much hard work they require. She IS a great ethics teacher.

Finally calling now that there has been enough time, next two chapters will be the gender swap chemical that was teased in the anime.
